"Came into barber blues Folsom while in town from WA. This place is amazing from beginning to end. Booked online very easily. The establishment is very clean and the barbers were all polite and professional. The establishment has drinks and snacks if you have to wait and all products they use they have in stock for easy purchase and prices for are very reasonable. I had Ramses as my barber and the cut shave and line up were on point. The price point is much better than in WA and the quality is much more superior."

"My son went to Folsom Barber Blues as a Christmas present. When I got the gift certificates, I must admit it reminded me of the Turkish barbers when I visited London, England. That was an amazing experience. The Folsom location ever had Peaky Blinders playing by the front door, so how could it be better? The owner Ramses said he could give my son a towel treatment with the haircut, as long as he supplied the tip. It was even down on the gift certificate. Unfortunately, his barber didn't honor this and even with the $20 tip, my son was charged an extra $20 for "holiday" surcharge. Not acceptable. I think when they see gift certificates they know they are not getting all the money they would normally see in one transaction, so why not jack up the price? I will say he looked good but the $38 + $20 tip + $20 surcharge was too much even for his haircut. Not returning and recommending those others not to as well. Dodgy transactions."

"Unfortunately i came in around 1pm on Sat September 30 and didn’t receive the quantity haircut I would expect to get when paying. The ppl were very nice and when i came in and offered a refreshment and told me it would be 30mins. A guy was cutting another mans hair and seemed to be doing a great job which made me feel confident that id get a similar result. But unfortunately after 30mins the guy that told me to wait packed his stuff and left. I was directed to a young lady who seemed to not be as confident or comfortable cutting a mans hair. But i also noticed the lighting could be a little brighter so I understand shadows being your enemy when cutting hair. When she asked what I wanted and i told her a 3 on top with a mid fade to 0 and she needed me to elaborate what i ment. Honestly the photos speak for themselves. I have a new job im starting and now i have to come in like this.* (Update) I ended up calling and tell them my issue and they told me i could return to get the haircut adjusted. I now give this place 4 stars for them understanding my complaint and doing everything possible to correct the issues. The haircut turned out great. Thank you to Nate for helping out! Will definitely be returning."

As soon as I entered the shop, I noticed the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the pronounced camaraderie among the barbers and customers. Now let's talk about Nate, my barber. Nate takes his time to make sure that the haircut is perfect. He provided me with lots of advice and suggestions, while skillfully shaping my hair into a high fade that I really liked. His expertise in understanding what suited me was outstanding, and the experience was not just a regular haircut but a personal styling masterclass. And just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better, I was offered a beer to sip on during my session. A small yet thoughtful gesture that made the entire experience feel a little more personal and relaxing But the friendliness didn't stop with Nate. I had the pleasure of engaging in a lively chat with another barber, Ramsey. Ramsey was a character, to say the least. He was fun and full of laughter. I can't wait to book an appointment with him for my future visits. I had mistakenly scheduled an appointment for a buzz cut when what I truly needed was a basic haircut. Luckily, I had some spare cash on me to cover the small price difference between the two services. All in all, the Barber Blues' vibe was as cool as a cucumber, even on this record breaking hot day. The camaraderie and rapport between the barbers and their clients added a unique and welcoming touch to the whole experience. If you're on the hunt for a professional cut in an inviting, laid back environment, I wholeheartedly recommend Barber Blues. You won't be dissatisfied with the skill and artistry of these talented barbers, I promise."
