While I appreciate the stylist's honesty in admitting a lack of knowledge about cutting curly hair, it's disheartening that in 2023, a salon of this caliber lacks fundamental expertise in catering to all hair types. It's essential for all stylists, regardless of the salon's clientele, to have basic knowledge about curly hair, as people of all races and ethnicities have diverse hair textures. In an era where inclusivity and understanding of various hair types are paramount, I believe there's no excuse for such a prominent salon to fall short in this aspect of their services. Today, I walked out with a supremely basic trim, which dod not even include the front pieces of my hair and had to pay $50. Tomorrow and going forward, I hope this salon does better."
