"I'm beyond ecstatic to finally find an ND Queer Hair Artist!!! I've been needing one for years, but couldn't find any locally until now since someone shared online about Snipped by Salem. Not only do I need a queer safe space for getting haircuts, but as an artist myself, I also want a space that allows creativity to explore, even in hair styles. Someone that is creatively like-minded as me who specializes in hair that I can trust to bring to life my vision or even someone to collaborate our artistic ideas together in creating something entirely new. I'm happy to find a place that doesn't have restrictions and limitations for hair because a lot of salons exist according to social norms and binary constructs, but Snipped by Salem breaks down those barriers and provides alternative styles without the unnecessary binary labels.
