"I love this store! Small but stocked with local heritage, it's all but a tourist attraction! The store used to be a train depot where young men were drafted and put on the train to start their patriotic journey. The owner is an absolute sweetheart who is an avid animal lover who happens to sell some really great shoes. Hard to say anything new or different about Birkenstocks because the quality and brand speaks for itself but if you're in the market for some, definitely go check out this great landmark and the old pictures of the store many years ago. What a local gem!"

"Just had the best experience at this Birkenstock location! I came in after a long bike ride (SF to LA, over 7 days - on day 6) in need of a comfortable shoe (and fast) as my current ones were not cutting it. The team member working (also the owner) was so sweet and helped me get exactly what I needed! She could have tried to sell me the $160 pair, which I thought would work; however, she thought (for what I needed), the simple $50 one would work - and do they ever! I appreciate YOU! Please support this local store!"
