"DONT TRUST THEM!! I'm never using this service again. I've used Monterey Shuttle plenty of times with zero issues. Now it's under Groom and I've had 2 back to back issues. On my way to SJC: 1) driver was late 2) shuttle had an extremely bad bouncing issue on the highway. Either unbalanced tires or suspension issues. 3) shuttle had check engine light on 4) driver was unprofessional - phone alarm kept going off. Complained about another passenger. Now my experience getting back to Monterey: 1) can't find new bus stop. The stop they use now is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to see 2) I called asking for help in finding stop 4. The first girl was super nice and incredibly patient. I was clearly frustrated and apologized. She understood. She stayed on the line for maybe 15 minutes or so. She really tried helping me find the stop but eventually transferred me to a guy and he hung up on me within 2 minutes tops. Unprofessional. 3) but who cares about that when THE SHUTTLE IM SUPPOSED TO BE ON BROKE DOWN!! Now I have to wait an extra 2 hours for the next bus."

"Money is not refundable if you canceled your trip in advance , they did not say about it when you make your reservation. They said only one luggage and carry-on bag allowed. Website says two bags allowed to be taken and one carry on. In time to pick you up they might refused to take you on board ,l because of extra luggage, and you will lose your flight Totally fraudulent business. Stay away from them."

"Terrible experience. Paid fee, confirmed pick up location with operator at terminal A stop 4. One. Us came by and said he was heading north. Waited an hour and finally called to see where driver was and was told he already left. I will never use this service again. Be warned very flaky"

"Avoid this shuttle service due to unreliability and lack of customer service! Take my experience as your forewarning. I booked an evening shuttle a few weeks in advance of my travel plans flying into San Jose to shuttle into Monterey. On the day of my travel, my flight was delayed so I called into their phone line to see what could be done. Their representative told me no problem, I would be moved to the next shuttle and my reservation would be updated so I would have a seat on that shuttle. Once I landed in San Jose, I hadn’t received an email confirmation nor text of the change so I called back into the phone line and was told that the change was never made and that the shuttle was now full. The next shuttle wasn’t for much later in the evening and I had firm plans to arrive in Monterey at a certain time. I was left with no option but to book a Lyft (which I obviously was avoiding due to the high cost and possible unreliability of drivers in the area). I reached out to management to request a full refund for my ticket and they granted this, although beware, you have to fight for this refund even if the cause of your issues falls on the company’s fault. Additionally, I asked for compensation in the cost incurred for the difference in my Lyft ride vs the Monterey Airbus Shuttle ride and I am still in battle with Groome (the multi-million corporation who is the parent company of Monterey Airbus Shuttle) to get this compensated. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."
