"Medical care is no fun. Parking in a garage is no fun with narrow berths, pinched blackout clearance, and erratic drivers. However, the Pasteur garage does so much better than most. Entry is easy with rarely more than 2 cars in line. Attendants are there when the machines seem confusing, which is rather common. Abundant signage, color coded levels, numbered spaces, and tiered accommodations are available for people with mobility challenges. Elevators run regularly, and stairs are available, too. A jitney is available for visitors and patients who have a hard time, including delivery to the front door of the destination clinic. Users need to pay at a pay station and use the validated ticket to exit. Rates are quite modest."
"I had to check in for surgery. I am a wheelchair user. The elevator was out of order!!! If the elevator is out of order, POST A NOTICE, so wheelchair users can make other parking arrangements, BEFORE we park, and get out of the car!!"
"Very well organized parking lot for Stanford Medical facilities patients. First hour free and each additional hour is $1. Quite convenient for patients and visitors. I reached there at 7:15am and it was as busy as shopping mall parking during busy times. It’s time that a lot if staff were parking to begin their work day. Signage is very clear. A good parking garage."
"Excellent parking structure. Well laid out. Was a little nervous about being underground. Felt safe and had plenty of ventilation. Fees are very reasonable. Remember to pay before heading back to your car. The elevators are slow, so I took the stairs most of the time."
