"I was once impressed by the deals and low prices Win Co. had to offer the citizens of Ventura County. Now, I am sadly dissatisfied by what I see. The "new" cashiers have no ambition in providing a positive shopping experience, but I can say it is always a memorable one. Where did kindness go? I will not be giving this grocery store my business any longer, which is a shame because it was once my favorite and top recommendation."

"We've recently been introduced to WinCo and love the bulk concept, some items are slightly cheaper than Sam's/Costco and some are not, definitely beats most retail grocery chains. The biggest con for me is not being able to pay with CC coming from someone who values the points and miles games along with the warranties that comes with it. Fortunately we do have a debit card with CRO that gives us 3% cashback and SoFi which beat paying cash any day. Understand that there is no membership cost involved but with the points and cashbacks that we get plus wholesale discounts, we easily cover membership cost (usually free for Sam's from promos). Got to say though the bulk items when bought in small qtys really add up fast, will have to pick and choose what items are worth buying from here. We're big on DIY so we don't care too much about service, we'd rather do the checkout ourselves, even though a nice staff tried to help us out when we couldn't get the Maui mango tea out of the canister."

"Not my favorite store. Vibe overall is very strange. You encounter people in here from places that seem far from earth. The only perk about this establishment in my opinion is it’s open 24hours. Other then the nice convenience of having it always open I rarely frequent this place. I don’t really see the savings of shopping here. Quality of foods and produce aren’t anything special. Often I find it a challenge to find maybe of the standard popular brands I can easily find at Vons, Sam’s Club, Smart & Final. Parking lot is large but can be dirty and flowing with questionable people doing questionable things. If you forget a special ingredient for a very special meal you’re making when every other store is closed then this is your place to go. Otherwise shop elsewhere if your value your time a& sanity."
