"This review is regarding my experience on Wed, Feb 7, 2024 the second floor Kitchen department. I was greeted by an older caucasian woman. Slender with short hair. I was interested in purchasing a stainless steel skillet pan that I saw online. As soon as I found the skillet I saw there was a check out with at least more than 10 people waiting in line. I decided I didn't want to wait in that line so I went to the woman that greeted me since she wasn't busy at all at another check out area. I asked her for a price check on the skillet, she seem nice and scanned it for me. And it was on sale just like on the website but I mention that it has more of a discount online and how would I go about that. Now this is where things went downhill. She was explaining to me that I would need to find get a coupon bar code and I was looking on my phone on the jcpenney website. She seem to get frustrated with me because I couldn't find it. Mind you, I'm not savvy tech and nor familiar with the jcpenney website. She was talking to me with a condescending tone as if I was a kid and she was the Principal. I was totally not feeling her vibe at all at this point. She even had the nerve to take my phone to show me, I didn't appreciate her even touching my phone, that was completely rude. I didn't get her name but this left me with a bad taste in my mouth. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. She shouldn't be working in sales, better off in a cubicle."

"My wife and I went in first thing today and had two armloads of merchandise to buy. We were 2nd people in line. The second cashier was busy looking busy. We made eye contact numerous times and she acknowledged us, however, when a non-English speaking couple walked up, she dropped what she was was doing to help them first to leaving us without any help. They made it very obvious that you will NOT get help unless you speak spanish, all non-speaking customers should shop somewhere else."

"Store staff are all so kind (had to ask 3 different store members for directions) but store itself needs to update signage. Got lost looking for online order pickup counter (upstairs) and then later could not easily find a checkout counter without asking for help, yet again. Appeared to be more holiday signage than directional signs. Was very frustrating navigating the different departments! However, the sale selection was plentiful and the prices and quality were worth it."

"I was able to find great deals here, the escalators were down which made it a bit difficult to navigate throughout the store but there was signage that led you to stairs or elevators. The customer service was great I thought I had a deal and yet the cashier provided a better coupon, which was very satisfying."
