"I had the Agile RIP Kit put on my Sprinter 2019 2500 in September 2023 at Agile in San Diego. I also has the 47gallon fuel tank installed at the same time. The Agile team got the weight of the van and recommended the RIP kit that was at almost the exact weight of the vehicle, from memory recommended was 4400 and the one I wanted was 4700. I told them that I wanted to go with the higher weight RIP kit as I live in Alaska drive the Alcan, and plan to add more to the sprinter. I was told repeatedly by the Agile person that I should not do that, it was going to be too stiff and would be a hard ride, that no one does that and they have customers everywhere who get these kits. I told them again yes that is what I want as it is what I have discussed with other van owners in Alaska and it is the consensus and recommendation. The Agile representative then went and got another second person to come with them to talk to me and tell me that it was a bad idea to do that. Again they reiterated it was not a good idea, no one does that, it was going to be a stiff ride, shake the van apart potentially causing other damage, and that they do tons of these kits and people do all kinds of extreme driving and no one ever does this. I told both of them yes this is what I want. They then asked me to tell them what I planned to put onto the van and I told them a few items I had planned. They both told me that was not enough weight and I should go with their recommended weight. I said I want to go with the higher weight. They finally agreed to but said it was not recommended. I do not see why they needed two associates to try and talk me out of the higher weight suspension RIP Kit when I explicitly told them repeatedly “Yes that is what I want.”. I was incredibly frustrated with their attitude towards me and for trying to convince me that I was making a mistake. The van does not drive stiff and everyone I’ve talked to since is not sure why there was such push back to the weight. The second part to this is the fuel tank install. I called Agile a day or two later after the install because of two issues 1) I filled up the new tank full on day 1 no issue drove for a few days to a different state filled up and the tank didn’t show that it was full. I gave it a day on rough BLM roads to see if it would come up to full before calling. When I called Agile they said I needed to call the manufacturer as it was not their product. Even though I bought it from Agile and Agile installed it. 2) I have a diesel heater and it did not work after the tank was installed. I called Agile and said the heater is not working was everything connected up correctly as there is a direct line into the tank for the heater. Agile said yes all good on their side and said I needed to contact the Espar manufacturer. I tried with the Espar for days and could hear it trying to pull fuel and timing out. I had a mechanic friend look at the tank as it was not working they said whoever installed the tank did put the connector into the fuel tank but knocked off the clamps and tubing from the dank to the Espar and did not bother to fix. The Espar fuel line was completely disconnected dangling sucking air (see image). I have been angry about this entire experience with Agile since it happened. I paid a lot of money assuming a high quality of work at Agile and the level of professionalism, respect, and quality were all subpar. Whenever I talking about my van with people which I love to do, I have always mentioned that I had this experience at Agile. I recommend to buy their products but get the work completed someplace else unless you want to leave frustrated with no support."

"These guys are the most inclusive off-road shop for my Sprinter, bar none! Their custom parts, tech support, customer support, and willingness to try new things is the reason they are the best! No one has been lifting rigs for as long as these guys. They go to every overland expo, to show off new developments. Their YouTube channel is highly informative and they’re always ready to help me out, when I’m camping and off-roading; answering questions or sending out parts to where I need ‘em. Without their help I could have been stranded many times, or without the best recommendations for to solve issues. Awesome company! Truly legendary stuff."

"BUYER BEWARE….from customer who has spent $15k with Agile Offroad and has done all the major upgrades/modifications to my 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 (RIP kit, Front/Rear bumper, lighting, etc.). I had a recent tire blow out and used the H1 Scissor Jack that John sold me (Agile Owner) saying it was safer than the Mercedes factory jack. It turns out, the scissor jack failed…it bent and broke off at the tip while attempting to use it on a flat asphalt road. After 2 weeks of back and forth trying to get a response to my email explaining this product may have been defective and that I would like a replacement or refund…John’s response was for me to pay the shipping cost for him to inspect the defective jack with no guarantee of a replacement or refund. To nickel and dime your customers to pay shipping cost with no guarantee of a replacement or refund is ridiculous. A company with good customer service and an owner with good business ethics would have offered to pay the shipping cost to address safety concerns of a potentially dangerous tire jack that he is recommending and selling to Sprinter owners. This terrible customer service experience is an example that Agile does not stand behind the products they sell. If you want a jack for your Sprinter, check out the 6 ton Safe Jack…it’s a bottle jack that is off road capable and they offer a variety of accessories including a wide base. Regarding the RIP kit for those of you who are interested, if I were to do it over, I would not install Agile’s so terribly named “Ride Improvement Package”. It does not improve your ride….it creates stability, yes, but you will pay for it with a VERY Uncomfortable and Rough Ride. Everytime I ride over a highway expansion strip, there is a LOUD BANG due to the rigidity of the rear leaf springs / Fox shocks which creates a earthquake effect. I would go with Van Compass if I were to do it all over again and get the adjustable shocks."

"We recently got the RIP package along with Cooper tires installed by Agile Off Road. Took the whole day, but the staff was friendly and took the time to explain the details of our new suspension, and answer any questions that we had. The improvement in the ride quality is fantastic, and we are happy that we went for the whole package. It was expensive, but worth it. Definitely recommend these folks."

"Agile has become my go-to source for all things Sprinter (Revel). They are so knowledgeable about all facets of these builds that they are now out ahead of the curve and developing new products before people even know they need them. Their mad scientists behind the (welding) curtain are genius and their sales and support staff or experts in recommending and applying the right tools for the job. Beyond the products - Agile has helped me become just that - more Agile. I’ve been able to go places I’ve only dreamed of and I’ve had experiences I’d have never had without them. Thanks guys!"
