"The positive: it looks nice and has a nice idea of dual ovens The negative: making a product that only works for 2 years and then needs a part replacement. Seriously? Then the company they outsourced to fix the oven loses the part they need. It’s been 2 months. Made the holidays difficult. What would have made this easier is if the people at Thor actually designed an oven that didn’t need a replacement every 2 years… do better. Also, when asked to review a product on their website, they don’t allow low ratings. It “doesn’t meet their standards”."

"I highly do not recommend the Thor Stove. Ordered during November black Friday 2023 and it is January 2rd 2024 and our oven still doesn't work straight out of the box. The poorest customer service. Christmas ruin, We bake every year. We couldn't bake/"Cook like a god!" If you order a Thor appliance I pray it works out of the box otherwise you will go through what feels like hell dealing with customer service. Repairs are 3rd party. Bottom line once you purchase their product you are on your own getting any parts or service to get it to work."

"DO NOT BUY A THOR ICE MAKER!!! I bought one for my bar and for the first six months is worked perfect with nice ice cubes. Then it started producing ice sheets that you need a hammer to break apart. I called Thor service department, and they did send out a Sears technician (Twice) and they couldn't find anything wrong. Thor finally said that the sheet of ice is normal and that's what it is design to do. So if you want to have ice sheets with no ice cubes- buy their product. I don't like ice sheets so I have to spend another 2k for another ice maker- it won't be a Thor!"

"I recently purchased a completely gutted and remodeled home from a developer. The remodeled kitchen included a new Thor fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and 36 inch commercial gas range. The developer purchased the items in June, and I bought the home in September. I requested warrantied service on the gas range and after being stalled for two weeks, was finally told that since I didn’t purchase the items myself, the warranty does not transfer to me, and the service was denied. I left a review on the Thor website, which they refused to post, but I did get a response asking me to contact customer service (again) so they could look into it. Upon doing so, I get the same canned email response that says they will get back to me, but they never do. This is a terrible way to do business. I understand warranties from customer to customer not transferring, but from a developer to new home owner there should be something in place to cover that."
