"This place is way better than my former dentist (nothing against them lol). Great Destists. They know how to do their job. You don’t wait too long. CHELSEY WAS VERY HOSPITABLE AND AMAZING. NO PAIN AT ALL. SHE IS GREAT!! CHELSEA GOT MY TEETH LOOKING CLEAN AND FRESH. The lady who did my X-rays put me in pain…just kidding. She was very sweet and patient with me."

"If i could give 0 stars i would. I went in on 03/01/2024 for some tooth pain. I was immediately told I needed a root canal, $4,000 since they did not accept my insurance. I even asked if I could just have the tooth pulled, i was told it wasn’t even an option. I got a second opinion since it seemed a little sketchy. I was told i never needed the root canal, they shaved my tooth down & i ended up with a severe infection and now have to have the tooth pulled regardless. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"February 2023. In that first apt. I was given a laundry list of things that needed to be sorted, including a root canal and periodontal disease. A financial advisor came in and sat down with me to work out a payment plan on a very expensive bill, during which there was no mention of the fact that my insurance had not been communicated with and the work would not be covered. In that same first apt. I was given a deep cleaning with laser for the periodontal disease and scheduled for my root canal. Fast forward to my crown apt post root canal. During the process, they misplaced the crown and informed me that I would have to reschedule to have the entire crowning process redone. They also cut my tongue and did not inform me until I was leaving. I then had my SECOND crown apt to fix the first crown which they did not place correctly. During this apt they spent a significant amount of time drilling the first crown off in a very painful process and then finally were able to replace it with a crown that they told me was placed correctly and was good to go. After that apt. I had further periodontal cleanings. During all of this I’m having regular calls with their office manager and being told first that they do accept my insurance, then that they don’t, and then that they do. I also received a letter from my insurance explaining that the dentist was not providing enough evidence for the periodontal disease. Due to numerous bad experiences, I switched dentists. Upon requesting my X-rays from Smyrna Modern Dentistry I was only provided with the thumbnail file, much too small for my new dentist to make good use of. After getting new X-rays and exams from my new dentist, it turns out that I DO NOT have periodontal disease. Amazingly, after looking today, this is not the first review I’ve seen saying Smyrna Modern Dentistry lied about a patient having periodontal disease. In addition, new xrays show that the second crown I was given at Smyrna Modern Dentistry is also incorrectly placed. In fact, my X-rays clearly show that the crown is not only too thin, but does not seal correctly anywhere on my tooth and instead leaves a gap perfect for bacteria to hide in. X-rays also showed that Smyrna Modern Dentistry used too much cement and when the cement squirted out between my teeth, THEY LEFT IT THERE. This was a two minute fix that they easily could have cleaned out, especially considering it was clearly visible on X-rays, and that they did perform X-rays after placing the crown, and that I had cleanings after that crown placement. Instead I’ve had cement gathering bacteria between those two teeth for almost a year. Needless to say, I can not recommend Smyrna Modern Dentistry, and in fact would strongly suggest anyone that does go there to pay very close attention to the quality, or lack there of, of the work performed at the facility."

"I have been going to this Dentist Office up until now for 3 years. Initially they were decent. However, recently they have had some turnover. The one bright spot I will say is Dania who is a great hygienist. The Doctors, however, are money hungry and will try to charge for services not needed. I was told by one doctor I didn't need a root canal, but Dr.Jones claimed I needed a root canal. Fast forward a couple weeks ago I was told that I needed to have surgery for advanced pd disease. Got a second opinion by another Dentist who said that was extreme to offer a patient surgery. I only need to have a deep cleaning. Also, determined I don't have pd disease. PLEASE proceed with caution because they will try to rob you blind. The surgery that they were offering was almost 2,000. The cleaning that independent Doctor mentioned was only 300 dollars."
