"Customer service does exist! From the moment we walked in, we got a friendly greeting from the young lady at the front of the store. I asked if they had a certain brand of boots. I was there to replace the ones I had bought here just several months prior. I didn't mention that part to her though. The stitching had separated on the ones I was wearing and after looking online at the manufacturer, it was not something they covered in their guarantee. I also figured Elliot's would not cover anything after 30 days. The young lady directed me and my daughter to the back, where she asked the gentleman working there about the brand I was looking for. He greeted us and immediately looked down at my boots and his reaction surprised me. He emphatically asked what happened to them. I recognized him as the man that had actually sold them to me months ago and reminded him of that. He eventually remembered me and that my daughter was with me the last time i was there. I said they didn't even last 6 months and I was looking to get a different brand. The surprising part was, without hesitation, he asked if I would like to trade them in for a new pair. He was offering to swap them out! He directed me to a couple of different options. I chose an upgraded pair that I ended up only having to pay a small price difference for, after receiving a credit for the original pair. He did look up my previous purchase in the system, just to verify the amount I had paid prior. He informed me that Elliot's stands behind what they sell. The gentleman's name is Larry. Absolutely the best customer service I have received in a long time. He's helpful, informative and has a great personality. I highly recommend this place if you're in need of buying some work boots and having confidence in them being guaranteed to last. If nothing else, just getting to meet Larry!"
