"My Saturday morning date! Yeap you read that correctly, I love shopping at DG on Saturday’s, it Digital Coupon Day! You can find some good deals, plus why not spend $20 and get $25 worth of products. I stock up on my Angel Soft toilet tissue, paper towels, dawn dish soap, bleach, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. Y’all better start couponing at DG."

"Horrible cashier- guy was on the phone with someone while I was checking out and literally yelled “suck my D***”. Thank goodness my kids weren’t with me. Then he couldn’t figure out my card- and wouldn’t hang up the phone to figure it out. Absolutely ridiculous."

"Went to Dollar General and decided to get three 12 packs of soda since it was advertised as 3 for $12. It rang up $17.50 so I went back in to have it corrected. First they told me one of the soda brands wasn’t on the special and I walked back to show them that it was. So then they said a discount was taken off but it then added up to $14.50 which was $2.50 over the amount advertised. They refused to give me a refund saying it was the manufacturer and not them who puts the prices on items and they could not change it or give money back which is ridiculous! If it is listed a certain price in their store they need to honor it regardless of who put the price there. We would not have bothered getting three overpriced packs of soda if there was no discount. The girl that was new was nice but the male employee who told me he wouldn’t give a refund was very rude and condescending. I do not recommend this Dollar General and will go across town to another one from now on. The extra gas used will be worth it!"

"The employees seem to be doing the best they can but the place is understaffed. It stays pretty busy so there's not enough time to restock. There are always several carts in the aisles with new stock and half empty shelves everywhere. They always seem to be out of stock anytime I try to stop in quickly for something. They need more help it seems because they're all really nice but seem overwhelmed."
