"Management at this store is horrible. They speak to the younger employees like they are beneath them. They refuse to help them when they get backed up lines. Also refuse restroom breaks unless it's break time. They are very rude and disrespectful to customers and employees. Poor management to me causes further issues in the store. Do not recommend shopping here because of the uncomfortable experience."

"Awful and disgusting place. I can’t believe how rude the employees are. I tried to return an item and was accused of retagging the item because the manager couldn’t believe that it was ripped prior. Oh, I’m sorry I don’t believe that you looked through every single item in the store to ensure it wasn’t damaged. Was humiliated in front of a whole store for $13. You’re not no high end department store. If you’re thinking about returning a damaged item here, expect to be told you’re a thief and a liar. Not my first bad experience in this place, I definitely would reconsider shopping elsewhere."

"I have shopped at Ross for many years and was very disappointed yesterday. After spending over an hour picking stuff for the kids, half way through my check out I was told the store has no shopping bags for shoppers. If we needed to bag our paid items we have a buy Ross reusable bags at 99c . Many shoppers were walking away with their items bunched up in their hands or forced to pay for the bags. This is disappointing, the least the management could do is to pay for the bags for the duration they are out of shopping bags. It was tacky seeing customers walking away bunching up their items and dropping them as they walked away in the parking ."

"I truly do not see how it’s possible for this place to have 4 stars right now unless it’s employees and families doing reviews. We came to this location last week to buy a gift we were told they had. While there they had a lady blocking the aisle we needed to look in with two carts and told us we couldn’t look at the stuff bc she was straightening it up-4 hours before they closed. How are you going to sell things in your store if you tell your customers to get out of the aisle they need? Then she yells across the store at every single person who touched clothing on a hanger-including me when a shirt I was near fell off and I was only hanging it back up. We then decided to checkout as we felt very unwelcome. The lady at the register told us to take the sweatshirt off the hanger. One item. So now we’re doing their jobs for them. I bought a candle in a glass jar and she just threw it in a bag when I asked for it to be wrapped she said she had no way to do that. Then I get home and realize they charged me $11.99 for an item with a $2.99 tag on it. I came back to the store today to return it and had to wait in a hr long line just for them to tell me at the register I was lying about the item and price. Had to wait for them to go to the back office and rewatch their security tapes to make sure that’s what I bought. I will never give this place another dime of mine and I don’t recommend you do either. Zero stars!!!!"

"This store is always chaotic, but if you stick around you’ll find some really great stuff. I don’t know why I do it to myself, but it’s worth the long wait in the lines. I find gems all the time. I highly recommend this Ross in Smyrna!"
