"Had a great hike after a days rest of food poisoning. My wife had to go on a hike for class , so I followed. Feel better now . I needed that hike"

"This is a great trail close to San Antonio and UTSA. The paved trail is mostly concrete with patches rocky tar like paving. The upper trail is not paved, but still fairly easy to walk. The upper trail is clearly defined by a gravel path. You don’t need to worry about getting lost. I did one big loop of upper and lower and it was 2 miles. There were never any sharp or killer inclines. I felt it was gradual increases. This is a good family walk and it’s not nearly as busy as the other more popular parks. It’s also a good trail in nature to run and not fear twisting an ankle. There’s a small parking lot and a real bathroom not porta potties."

"Great shaded path with some flat and some climb. A complete loop is about 2.25 miles. It was so beautiful, I trail ran it twice! A beautiful hidden trail in the midst of the city. Places like this are hard to come by! Just leave your dog at home as it’s a dog-free zone."
