"Everyone I talked with was friendly, professional, and helpful. The area inside and out where the dogs had outside runs was very clean, and well maintained. I picked up two female cats that were checked and up to date for standard health requirements. They will be kept on my property for mainly rodent control with free run of the area once they adapt to their new rural location."

"Extremely rude staff. I had called because I found a stray cat. They said they couldn’t help me because the cat was found in Shorewood. Before I even could explain myself I was met with attitude so I hung up. I’m not going to be talked to in a rude way when I’m asking for help and asking you to do your job. Upon looking at the address where I found the cat it is technically in Joliet jurisdiction. I was told to call back. When I called back to explain, the lady I spoke with the first time answered the phone and was again very rude right off the bat. The first time I called she didn’t seem like she even wanted to help me. She was very snippy and not friendly. The second phone call was even worse. Attitude after attitude. I was told I can bring the cat in but they would euthanize it. Very monotone and not caring. Seemed like she didn’t care either way if this cat lived or died. I’m shocked with the whole experience. I get you may be overwhelmed and have a lot going on but there’s no reason to cut me off and be rude when I’m trying to explain my situation."

"I'd been trying for months to rescue a dog, thought I would try the pound. So glad I did!! "Buddy" has fit right into our family and our dog Jax and him were instant best friends. Also, the price to adopt from the pound is only $80!! Compared to all the recues we looked into that the prices average $450 or more! All the staff were very friendly too!!"
