"Everyone has a opinion.. This location is in a great area! Many places to eat and highway so close by. Staff are kind and helpful! They will promptly accommodate any needs you may have. My room was clean and no bugs. I will definitely stay here again!"

"Room prices fluctuate by a few hundred dollars on a daily basis, rooms do smell like cleaning agents when you enter. Location is not the best, and alot of in and out traffic, loud guests, and aside from the cleaning ladies, staff are pretty much indifferent to your needs. Wouldn't stay here w my kids for sure."

"I stayed at this Motel on 12/24/23 I woke up to my eye swollen. I thought nothing of it just maybe I had gotten bitten by a spider I paid for Sunday/Monday early Sunday morning I mentioned my swollen eye to the overnight lady when I paid. I'm laying in the bed for about 20 minutes and I felt something pinch on my arm. I get up and look in the mirror and I had gotten bitten by a bed bug. I goes and look at the bed and I can clearly see the bed bug on the bed. I went to the office to ask for a refund (by this time there is a shift change and two men are in there now)and told them why I wanted a refund you can clearly see my eye is swollen and I also showed them the bite marks on my arm. They said they would refund me but it would have to be mailed out but I paid cash.. There is nothing in the office that clearly states that that is their policy on how they give a refund now my money is in the register why can't they just give it right back to me because this is a serious issue. I called the Joliet police where they said they couldn't make them give me my cash back they could only ask because this is a civil matter. I called red roof customer service where I waited on the phone for over thirty minutes for the complaint department to answer my call where she told me that they would put in a complaint and the owner would get back to me by email to tell me if I can get cash back or if it still has to be mailed. I received an email from the owner that said thanks for my guest feed back that's it. It doesn't mentioned anything about what happened or my refund. I know that this is a long review but I wanted it to be known what can happen by the way the room was 232 if you stay at red roof please don't stay here or if you do stay at your own risk."
