"I have had it with this place. If my dog wasn’t 12 years old, we would definitely switch vets. Not only did they refuse to stay the day we knew our other dog was dying, they are only out for the money. We’ve had our dogs on wellness plans, paying over $60 a month when we had both dogs since 2008. $45 to check for an ear infection when we’ve paid every single month and only bring our dog in when she needs shots? If I could give this place negative stars, that’s what I would get them. They don’t care about your animals, they just want your money. Nothing more than money. Please, if you love your pet, go to Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. They actually love their patients and show it. Banfield, why is that when others leave 1 star, when that’s the lowest we can go, you only reply to certain ones? My dog died because I called at 6:30, telling the front desk we could be there in 10 minutes. I was told, word for word, “I can’t ask my doctors to stay after 7pm.” Almost 14 years and having 2 dogs on a wellness plan, and your doctors couldn’t stay to help a dying dog? Disgusting. I was told to go to Plainfield Emergency Vet. I pulled into what I thought was the emergency vet, but it was an AMAZING veterinarian clinic, who happened to still have the doctor and receptionist there. When they saw my 4 kids, husband and me holding my dying dog, they rushed outside (well after they closed by the way) and stayed with us, ran tests and respectfully helped us, and my kids (who are triplets and it was their birthday) say goodbye to our believed baby. We were they, the doctor was there, until AFTER 9pm when they closed at 7. Maybe take some tips from the better vets in the area because you aren’t it."

"If I can give no stars I would. I had a really unfortunate experience when I brought my cat to this veterinary clinic about 6 weeks ago. My cat was suffering from a skin issue and was displaying signs of lethargy, so it was crucial to get him immediate medical attention. However, the overall visit turned out to be the worst experience ever. During the examination, the vet administered steroids and prescribed them for home. However, even after following the recommended treatment, my cat's condition has worsened rather than improved. This has left me feeling extremely disappointed and upset. Furthermore, I was disappointed that the clinic did not provide any at-home care recommendations or suggestions for the type of food that could help improve my cat's condition. I was left feeling lost and unsure of how to best care for my pet during his recovery process. On top of all this, the receptionist at the clinic was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They showed no empathy or understanding towards my concerns and seemed more interested in rushing me out than addressing my questions or providing any additional information. This lack of professionalism only added to my overall negative experience at this veterinary clinic. To add to the frustration, the clinic also provided a quote of over 1k for additional tests, which I found to be completely outrageous. Considering the lack of improvement in my cat's health, I now deeply regret choosing this clinic for his treatment. Overall, the experience has left me feeling both saddened and angry, as my pet's condition has not improved and I feel as though I have wasted both time and money seeking medical help from this clinic. SAVE YOUR MONEY and AVOID THIS PLACE."

"Me and my sister had an appointment to get a rabies vaccine for my puppy at 10:30 today (as of Monday 10/16/2023). When we arrived the worker that was present said we didn’t (despite the fact that we showed her on our phone) and basically turned us away and told us to reschedule. It took us calling the manager and being able to squeeze a reschedule same day, but we are satisfied with the visit so far. The worker from this morning though, left a really negative impression and I honestly wouldn’t come back if she was present."

"I cannot express the gratitude I am feeling from the support of the doctor and her staff. They provided a complete diagnostic of issues our cat was experiencing. They took the utmost care of our pet and contacted us frequently on our pet's prognosis. We will definitely recommend Banfield Pet Hospital for our friends' pets preventative and urgent care!"
