"This place does not let you take pics with your family or kids., edinburg does. Go to edinburg pools. There is no open swim for families during the week. Only if you can afford to pay for their expensive swimming classes. What a shame. Worst swimming pool in the valley was told the pool was open on Saturday and when i went on Saturday it was closed. Family was disappointed. The person in charge should be fired but they work for the city and mcallen city hall is filled with nepotism so noene gets reprimand fired, nithing."
"Bad management, nonexclusive suim wear for women, bad schedule hours for Saturday and Sunday 5am -10am. Go at your own risk and be disappointed. No more common sense or courtesy used by management or so called life guards."
"Closed 2023 due STAFFING SHORTAGE... City of McAllen slacking bad.. That pool is a money maker, and you mean to tell me that in this entire city, they can't find the people for it....... The City of McAllen is SLACKING bad better starting changing the hiring process. #nepotism"
"Official website said it was open on Sunday. Drove 15 minutes and took my little son to only come across the lifeguards who lied and said that the official website hours hasn’t been updated and the pool is closed to public on Sunday even though it says open on Sunday and was barely updated hours from June 3rd to August 20th.. plus the only people there was only for a private party who took over the whole place.. last time I saw it was the McAllen tax payers pay for but Parks and Rec want to profit and turn a public paid park into a private party only fun day. Typical City of McAllen behavior."
