"I called to connect water and they charged me $225. $100 deposit (understandable), $25 (connection fee), and $100 tampering fee. I explained that I just moved in and had nothing to do with the water or meter before that. They told me it didn’t matter and simply because the meter showed usage, I was responsible for the tampering fee to connect water. It was so frustrating as I had nothing to do with it"

"Terrible water company, I don't know why they are the only water provider in McAllen. First they have an outdated app and website, you cant set up auto pay on there. You have to go set it up in their office. Also they sent me a disconnect let that said that I had 10 days to pay from the date of the letter and they disconnected it within 7 days. I called to pay the bill and have the water turned back on, then they charge me a 25.00 reconnection fee."

"I have never been introduced to the most unprofessional staff and management than this “public utility” company. This company makes fraudulent charges on your account and when I called to confront them of their mistake the representative responded with “well the charges have been paid so you must have agreed to them” as if I was talking with a child. If that were the case, I would not be calling you about the issue. I ask to speak to a manager and his response is not much better responding with “well the charges are electronic so it is the system and I cannot reverse them.” It was like I was dealing with a high school dropout that kept repeating his name to every question I asked as if it were a response. I asked them to call me back concerning a refund for their systems mistake and the manager states that he will call me back when he has more information. Yet it has been over a week with no response or solution. I call back and he is always unable to come to the phone, how convenient. Thank s Mr. manager for the call back and prompt solution."
