ABC Quality Moving & Storage

"I've used this company twice. First was for a long distance move which went well/according to plan. Based on this experience I hired them for a local move. I really wish I hadn't or at least had spent some more time looking at their competitors as unfortunately there were some significant issues this time, which we were unable to respond satisfactorily. On the plus side, the movers showed up on time/a bit early and were generally polite and got to work fairly quickly. The issues I had were with efficiency, attention to detail, and professionalism. As the day went on, progress became very slow. Though I certainly understand that stairs, angles, furniture wrapping etc. can add time to the process, there were multiple periods where about 15 minutes would elapse and I felt the need to go check on the movers as nothing was being moved in or out of the house. In one case, I found one of the movers wandering around the truck bed throwing a screwdriver into a cardboard box to see if he could get it to stick. There were also numerous smoke breaks or other times someone was just sitting in the truck. Since I was billed for this time, I did not feel the hours billed represented hours worked. This became particularly egregious towards the end of the move in and move out phases where there were only 1-2 items left but no progress being made. I raised this issue with the management and received nothing other than a string of increasingly condescending emails. They also failed to deliver one item, though did eventually replace it with a similar item over a week later. I did not find this a satisfactory resolution but that was all they were willing to do. But, in the end they moved mostly everything and didn't cause much significantly damage so 2 stars. All in all I would not recommend. There are plenty of better options. If you do use them, I would at least limit it to a 2-person crew and prepare yourself for the fact that any problems or disputes that might arise will not be taken seriously by the company."

"I am moving and I needed a company to unload the truck. I called this place and the owner answered the phone. This is one nice man. He took his time to listen to what I needed and offered me great ideas for the day that I was moving into my place. I am scheduled and would HIGHLY recommend this company and him. Nice people should be recognized and he is.... I will update with the movers to continue my move... thank you~~~"

They were able to make everything fit when I didn't expect it could and the three men never stopped working. They hustle and pack/unpack everything just the way you request. Worth every penny, can't recommend highly enough."

Move started at 9:00 a.m. and we were done by 2:00. No issues, no damages. Professional, friendly and helpful service by all involved. Would highly recommend this company to anyone getting ready for a move."
