"I was a patient of Dr. Syed Waliuddin for 10+ years and had enough. He is very unreliable, terrible communication. He has left me hanging numerous times, when trying to fill the medications he prescribed. It would typically take 1-2 days before my issues were addressed correctly. These are meds I cannot be without. Additionally, he is guaranteed to be running late, since he also works at St. Joseph's hospital and makes his rounds there first. Lastly, he always seems distracted, it was obvious he was not giving me 100% of his focus. Dr. Wally is a nice person, he just spreading himself too thin, too much on his plate. Not sure if it is greed, I like to think he just trying too hard to make a difference. I have mentioned this to him a few times over the past 18 months. As well, I have made it clear to him he needs to take care of his current patients and their medications. Well, the last two months have been the same story. Both with 2+ days delay in getting my meds. FYI, I would have to find a pharmacy with my meds and notify Dr. Wallly. Then he will only call them in at the end of the day after he has finished with all his patients. If he has a question, you lose anther day. I’ve had enough and made the change."

"I have been with Dr. Wally since he began this practice. I have done very will with him. He is very accommodating and listens to any concerns I may have. Just remember that he is a shrink and not a therapist. You will not get 45 minute talking sessions here. That is for a therapist."

"I’ve been coming here for years now, seeing a therapist (Debby) and the psychiatrist (Dr Wali). Debby has always been great, I could not recommend her more. However, Dr Wali has been the complete opposite. Since my first ever visit with him, he has never been very personable or friendly like you would think a psychiatrist would be….but I liked Debby and only had to see Dr Wali every so often so I dealt with it. Within the past six months, I have been having trouble getting my prescription refilled. Every time I need a refill and my pharmacy puts in for one, Dr Wali doesn't approve it. Myself and my pharmacy call the office numerous times in effort to get it filled. Each tike i call, the receptionists tell me that I am up to date with my visits, do not owe any money, and that they will tell him to fill it. This goes on for over a week each time. Last month, I finally mentioned this issue to Debby and she said she would talk to him, see what the issue is. It was filled immediately after and I didn't hear another word about it. About a week and a half ago, I started the dreaded process of trying to fill my prescription (which I still haven't received), today I called the office again and I insisted I set up an appointment with Dr Wali to see what's going on and to hopefully get my prescription, even though the receptionist said I didn't need an appointment. About an hour after setting the appointment up, the receptionist calls me and tells me that Dr Wali canceled my appointment with him and said that I need to go to somewhere else and he won't take me as his patient anymore. The receptionist didn't understand, know why, or have any explanation."

"My experience with Dr. Wally was very sub-par. I had asked him whether or not my symptoms were related to everything I was diagnosed with, or if it was possibly schizophrenia, and I only got a superficial answer back. I also asked whether I could switch medications to Zoloft once again, as I had had good experience with it in the past. However, I was never told to WEIGN OFF my original medication first, because not doing so would put me at threat of serotonin discontinuation syndrome, and it did. I had all of the textbook side-effects: anxiety, depression and mood swings, dizziness, electric shock sensations, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, headache, and worst of all, insomnia. I didn't get sleep for three days straight because of switching immediately, and I DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER, and thought it was just my body getting used to the new medication. If all of this was brought to my attention THE FIRST TIME, I literally would have avoided three days of pure suffering. Please, DO NOT GO SEE DR. WALLY. Despite their professional attitude, their medical judgment is compromised, seeing as something so COMMON was not brought to my attention WHATSOEVER, regardless of whether or not it was a slim chance. Also as a side note for Valley Psych itself, my parents have been having billing issues where our deductible hasn't been added properly to the bill, despite no paper or written accounts as to why. This is also a good reason to stay away. Overall, very displeased and I will never be going again."
