"In three weeks, I went from not being able to finish 11 miles to running a half marathon PR thanks to the people at RunLab. I would highly recommend this business for anyone who needs help with running pain or expert advice on running mechanics. They have a system down pat that will help you improve your running form."

"I can passionately recommend and speak highly of the personalized care plan, professionalism, and compassion shown by Runlab, specifically for youth athletes. After an acute injury to my son’s foot and hip, several doctors and podiatrists could not figure out why it happened, how to manage or help him recover. Thankfully, we found RunLab. Over the past 8 months of therapy, our 13 year old son has progressed from being unable to bear weight on his right foot, unable to walk confidently without crutches, and unable to kick a soccer ball without pain. He has now returned to playing soccer and running a sub 6 mile, which is faster than his pre injury PR. We worked with several of the staff, but most consistently with Dr. Eric Rhoden and Jin. All the staff have been supportive, encouraging and helpful in getting him back to the active lifestyle he loves and equipping him with tools to help prevent injury injury in the future. Words can not express the gratitude we have for Run Lab. They have also helped my 11 year old daughter strengthen and train to be able to not wear rigid orthotics 24/7. She was told she’d always have to wear them, but with therapy she too has grown in strength to be able to be out of them, without pain, for much of the day and during sports. The training is helping her run form, agility, explosive movements and coordination which is great to see translated into her soccer and basketball games and life. It has been an encouraging and empowering experience for her as a person and youth athlete."

"I am so grateful for RunLab Austin and Dr. Rhoden for helping me cross the finish line for my first marathon! I went to RunLab only 5 weeks out from the marathon with a bad case of runners knee. After a full gait analysis and a few form cues, my running form improved enough to finish the race without immense pain. I still have a ways to go with my running form, but I’m excited to continue to work with RunLab!"

"I cannot thank Eric and the RunLab team enough for their tremendous support! I was visiting Austin and made an appointment as I felt like my running technique could be more efficient and in the weeks leading up to my trip I also developed a nagging injury. Eric took a lot of time to understand where I am at even before the video analysis by really listening and having a detailed conversation. I had 2 virtual follow-ups where i was talked through the implications of the video analysis in incredible detail and was given a few cues on what to focus on in my gait paired with some exercises to reinforce those. Could not be happier with the support received as I reached both of my goals, becoming more efficient and curing my injury. I am trying to find excuses to go back to Austin for another analysis to check on my progress"

"8 years ago I injured my calf training for a half marathon. Since then, I couldn’t run for more than a mile or so without excruciating pain in that calf and would suddenly be forced to limp home. This September I gave RunLab 2 months with a goal of running a 5k Turkey Trot with my daughter on my 50th birthday. The results are in. After all the physical therapy exercises and learning how to change my form, I was able to run the entire 5k without pain and keep up with my daughter. So grateful for the coaching and insight from the RunLab team!"
