"here now, thinking about how our stay has gone so far, and had to write this review before time slipped by. I've physical limitations (very recent multilevel lumbar fusion, so I've a large back brace and a bigger walker) and my husband had cancer surgery this morning. we're here for a week to keep him isolated. we've stayed at home2 Suites before across the country, most recently for 4 months in Bedford (during home construction), so I have a lot of points saved up. this stay is all points. I explained the medical situation on the phone, soon after I made the reservation. it was busy when we arrived, and our first choice for room wasn't available (accessible shower, top floor, 2 queens, end of the hall...ask room 630). we asked about it at check-in and Raymundo made a note. later on, Alan called us to say they could move us over the following day. I explained my husband would be having surgery in the morning & neither of us would be able to move our things the few rooms down the hall, but he said they'd help. May was here when we returned after surgery and promptly went up with us, packed up our fridge & food (a week's worth), loaded it all onto a cart (along with the luggage) and moved it down the hall to the new room, unpacked it all & put everything into the fridge & freezer for us. they brought up a chair from the lobby for comfortable TV viewing (my hubby has a temporary radioactive implant and I need to stay 6' away from himunless it's only for a few minutes, and we're stuck together in this room for a week while he's isolating). it sounds typical but here's the thing...the help we received was genuine. no eye rolls or heavy sighs. no "okay" to find out later there was no follow through. they went above and beyond at a ridiculously stressful time for us, without pause. we've stayed at everything from biker dives to 5⭐ hotels and I've never felt so cared for. our rooms have been very clean and well stocked (except no sugar, which was weird) and the lobby and hotel front spotless every time we've gone through. the service here is bar none. the rooms are typical for a home2, bright, functional, well-stocked and clean. the 7-11 crowd can seem a little sketchy, but we had no troubles there when we walked over our first night here. if you've a loved one in a hospital nearby or will be receiving treatment yourself, I'd recommend staying here. priced fairly and the pool is open, great breakfasts and gym, laundry facilities and the most amazing staff, you won't be disappointed. note: it's not the kind of radioactivity that'll linger in the room, but we needed to isolate from our grandson & pets. t's safe for guests of these rooms that may follow."

"Home2 Suites is a welcoming colorful place. We would stay again. Linitra at the front desk was very helpful as was the cleaning staff. Huge breakfast spread."

"I had a good experience here. I needed to get away and booked a room here. The room I had was spacious, clean, had ample office space to work remotely, a well supplied kitchen, and a large refrigerator to see stock up on groceries. Staff checked in often to make sure I was having a good stay. It was a peaceful stay with a great view from the 6th floor. Would definitely try here again."

"Rooms were fine and the service of the staff was good. The hotel is in a sketchy area of town and there was a homeless encampment just outside the parking lot. A lot of transients in the area."

"I love H2S brand and exclusively stay with them when traveling on business. This particular location was not up to standards. Room was very clean and well appointed. No issues with the check in staff, polite, efficient. My poor rating comes from the lack of hot water. The shower and bathroom sink barely reached tepid. I understand that it's possible that the hot water heater had an issue. I called the front desk to ask (10pm) and the attendant was incredibly rude and condescending. He accused me of not knowing how to operate a shower valve. I attempted to be polite and inform him that I did know how to use it, and he assured me that there was no problem with the hot water. I let it go and took a cold shower. The next morning I took another cold shower and proceeded to breakfast. I asked another guest if they also had issues with hot water and they confirmed. Failures happen, I get that. No big deal. The way an employee responds to a customer concern or question is another story."
