"I called the direct number to the humble 59 location , and was greeting my India and refused to transfer me as ordered by the store itself . Not getting my business for a new refrigerator. Hello Ferguson appliances"

"Had a computer issue after building my computer for gaming, with the help of some friends, was told they would be able to diagnose the issue within 3 days, I wait 4. No response, went up there to be told that whoever told me that was mistaken(was the manager by the way) and they were backed up, so it would take about 10 days to just diagnose the issue not fix it. I paid for their expensive membership service, because I thought it would be a good deal because I'm not very knowledgeable with computers. I was upset but I waited. waited 11 days total no answer or response from any associate. Finally went up there to collect my property. Only to be told that it was finally being looked at, at that point I demanded my stuff back because I could not trust them and did not believe the coincidence that as soon as I wanted my stuff back that they just now got to looking at it. Finally took it to a smaller more personal store got it diagnosed and fixed within 2 weeks and it has worked perfectly since then, even better actually. But alas they got me good and I trusted them so I write this review for anyone debating whether to use this specific geek squad. DON'T they are unresponsive unprofessional and apparently way to short staffed to be taking on any more work for how backed up they are. Super disappointed and will not be coming back to that best buy anytime soon."

"This Geek Squad has horrible customer service. After waiting on the phone for almost 20 minutes while it's ringing away, we were finally able to set an appointment to get my boyfriend's car stereo installed. His appointment was scheduled for 11:30 and when he showed up here told the installer had called in and he would need to reschedule. The installer was supposed to show up for work at 9am yet no one bothered to call customers and let them know. We live 45 minutes away from the store so that was a total waste of time and gas. We are currently trying to get appointment #2 set up but good luck getting someone to answer the phone."

"Went in this morning needing to know how to do a virus scan. I'm 70, never done a virus scan and I just needed to know how to do it. There was NOBODY in line at the Geek Squad desk. Two service reps were there. They would NOT even discuss the matter without an appointment. The guy handed me a brocure and said I could call the number on the front when I got home. That took another 15 minutes to get through the press 1 press 2 nonsense that most 'customer service' outlets use today. The NICEST young lady who happened to be in Florida listened to my dilema, that took less than 1/2 a minute. She then told me where to click, then where to double click and then where to click. In less than another 1/2 minute I was done! A TOTAL MINUTE it took to get the click, double click, click information. So much for paying for service. It is ludicrous that the guy at store could not take 1/2 minute to tell me where to click, double click and click. Then, try and go online to Best Buy to leave a review. Web site won't take you there. Hope you guys out there have a better experience that I did."

"June 9 2017 had a install done on my 65” Oled LG tv. We paid $200 bucks for the service. Agent came out put the tv up and when it came time to hide the cables flat out told me and my wife a lie on why he couldn’t hide them in the wall. We believed him being it was a brand new home. Long story short I have close friends that decided to build the same exact model home around the corner from us. Best Buy came out and hung their TVs for them hid all the wiring in the same wall they told us they could not and they only paid $149. This is the part that gets worse when I contacted Best Buy to get the install corrected they told me I would have to pay another $200 for the correction. Now I have decided if they are not going to fix it I would rather pay another company to come out and fix it. I have a Best Buy CC and generally use them for most of my electronic purchases. At this point i will do my best to spend money at other places to cover these needs and I will also direct anyone I know to not use Geek Squad or their services. If you read all this don’t let them do any installations for you they are terrible and expensive for what they offer."
