The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas

"Location is great. Rooms are fine, outdated design but for Ritz it’s okay. Service is behind what you would expect from a 5 star hotel - (1) they forgot to bring my food until reminded in 45 mins, making it cold, (2) they messed up the instructions and didn’t bring the dental kit when asked. I’ve been in the hotel for under 4 hours, don’t know what else to expect. Feedback updated: the service team reached out immediately after the feedback and helped resolve the issue. It was surprisingly fast and very professional."

"My stay at the Ritz Carlton in Dallas was marred by a series of disappointing experiences that starkly contrast the esteemed reputation of the brand. Initially, an attempt to enjoy a Bloody Mary in the Ritz Lounge proved futile; despite two reminders, the drink never arrived before dinner, leading me to cancel the order. Returning after dinner for another attempt, the Bloody Mary served tasted overwhelmingly of straight liquor, indicating a lack of attention to detail in its preparation. The issues extended beyond the lounge. Our room was not up to the expected standard of cleanliness, highlighted by a stained robe. Despite assurances from the housekeeping manager that the issue would be resolved, no solution was provided. Additionally, a room service request for a kids’ pasta with specific instructions was incorrectly fulfilled, further indicating a disregard for guest preferences. Not to mention a knocking sound coming from the sink area that was quite loud. When these concerns were brought to the night shift manager, her response was dismissive. She refused to acknowledge the issues, particularly the stained robe, despite my offer of photographic evidence as proof. This level of service is far from what is expected at a luxury hotel like the Ritz Carlton. We had hoped for a stay that matched the brand’s reputation for excellence and were left deeply disappointed. I urge management to address these service failures to ensure that future guests do not endure a similar experience."

"It’s The Ritz ….. this one is newly remodeled- beautiful!! Impeccable service. Club floor is where we stay - you can’t ask for more- period. If you want it, they will give it, happily. Recently went for an impromptu weekend getaway. Entered The Ritz and didn’t leave again for 48 hours. Thank you for much needed R&R."

"Wonderful experience coming very late from flight into Dallas that was delayed. Checking in was friendly and efficient. They gave me a nice corner room and the room had been prepped for me (e.g., blinds closed) and there was even a cake to celebrate my birthday with a hand written card (several weeks in advance, but I’ll take it!) The bar-restaurant food was typically amazing though very pricey, it’s my only small complaint. The breakfast in the club room is luxurious and beautiful. Great selection and very tasty. Kept in perfect shape by a hotel staff member. All in all, favorite hotel in Dallas by far."
