About the Business
Hope for Heroes is a health institution located at 8956 Research Boulevard in Austin, Texas, United States. Our mission is to support healing and restore hope for veterans, military individuals, their spouses, and children. We also provide assistance for first responders. Our team takes a fully integrative approach to supporting the mind, body, spirit, and community of those we serve.
Our staff, many of whom are veterans themselves, offer a range of treatments for PTSD, TBI, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, and other issues commonly faced by those who have served in the military. We also provide peer support, community resources, and assistance programs to help individuals transition to civilian life or cope with trauma.
In addition to our individual services, we offer free workshops to educate community organizations, churches, and businesses about military culture and mental health. Our program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.
Hope for Heroes is a part of the Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN), a group dedicated to supporting active and former service members by offering mentorship and guidance. We also provide programming at the Veterans Dorm at the Travis State Jail, offering educational classes and resources to incarcerated veterans.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and welcome veterans, active duty, National Guard, Reserves, spouses, surviving spouses, dependent children, and first responders to our institution.
