"Actually, pretty good overall. I lived here for a bit a few years ago and really couldn't argue. The people were quiet - it was fairly priced, perhaps a tad expensive, but not too bad. The management guru was someone named "Jan". She wasn't the most honest person I'd ever seen (when I moved out, she charged me a whole months rent, and had someone actually living in the apartment at the same time). I was actually thinking about bringing this up in small claims court. I know I would have won. I didn't hate the apartment though."
"I’ve been here since 2017 in a two bedroom two bath unit on the third floor. I have more than enough room to live well.it is quiet here and there are upgrades in the building going on all the time it seems. Maintenance is extra good. Jann has been here since the building opened. She follows the rules and some people might find that annoying, but if you follow the guidelines You will have no problems. We don’t have junk on our balconies, we have reasonable hours for during laundry and we have assigned parking places. Parking outside in the winter is tough in Wheaton, but the parking lots are cleared early. The grass and trees are taken care of as well as the swimming pool."
"Nice sized living room, bedrooms and walk in closets. Love the balcony too! Quiet building and there is a mix of people of all ages from recent grads to retirees. Issues in the apartments get fixed pretty quickly which is super convenient. I have some nice neighbors which is a great plus!"
"I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I avoided calling the property manager Jan at all costs!! Every time I spoke to her she acted like it was such an inconvenience. Unfortunately, all of the pros of this apartment complex are weighed out by the horrible choice in management. I lived at Lorraine Park apartments for over two years and I have never had a good experience with this woman. She makes it very clear that she does not care about a single person living at the property. My sister (who shared an apartment with me) went to pick up a package that got delivered to the apartment right after we moved to find out that Jan marked MOVED on the box and brought it to the dumpster. This was one day after the box was delivered. I am extremely happy to say I no longer live in these apartments. The property is wonderful but I would not recommend living here until this woman is removed."
