"The management team that is there now, apparently a wife and husband careless about the building. This is a terrible building to live in but money talks with this management team who let's whoever move in the building. People force open the doors to get in. The elevator tends to always have some type of puddle and smells like pee. The the stairway exits are the hangout spots for the smokers and drug users and the homeless people. It's even a bathroom for some because there has been a pile of poop in the stairways. This place has just went down since the wife and husband has been working in the office collecting rent and caring less about the tenants that actually care about the type of place they live in. Over the years I have seen so many good tenants leave just because of the present management team who don't take care of the building. Years ago when the maintenance guy Mike was there and it was different management the building was well maintained. You guys are missed! And Mike did a wonderful job being the only maintenance worker maintaining the building. Good luck with living there! It's a place for those who don't care how they live and where they live."

"Don't waste your time or money at this place. I have had the worst experience with the manager, April, and the corporate staff that I have had to deal with in the past 3 months that I have tried to get an apartment here. And the company that owns the building is no better. I sent them an email about the issues I have been having and the person replied with an EMOJI. So unprofessional and rude. That is what you will get here at Louis Joliet, just a bunch of unprofessional and rude people who could care less about getting you into an apartment in a timely matter. They will string you along and prolong the process and after 4 months of waiting, you have to fill out a new application and start the process over again."

"This apartment building takes forever to get you into an apartment. If you need to move in a month or less, do not depend on this place to get you in an apartment in that amount of time. They never pick up the phone and do not return your calls when you leave a message. And if you want good, reliable management, don't come here. The woman who is the manager there will lie straight to your face and is lazy. You have to do her job for her because she won't do anything until you actually go up to the office and have a face to face conversation with her. The people here do not care about anyone except themselves. They are a bunch of no good, incompetent people who you should not trust with you money."

"I filled out an application end of March beginning of April to move in mid-May. This is an income restricted apartment and was assured a month and a half/ 2 month was enough time to be approved. Property Manager said a I just needed one thing 3 weeks before my move in date and I was good to go. I dropped off the last thing then no response for weeks. Called and left messages, went down to the office no one was there. 3 days before I was supposed to move in I go down to the office where I run into the maintainece man and he informed me that the Property Manager quit and a new one wasn't supposed to start until the week AFTER my move in date. I wrote an email to the corporate office and the new property manager called apologizing and that what the previous manager said was incorrect. There were so many things missing and needed to be reconfirmed. So now there is no move in date, thank god I'm somewhere I wasn't kicked out on the street! And someone should have been checking the voicemail and contacted applicants to inform them of this instead of going dark for 3 weeks! Now it's mid-June and I Uber and they can not do simple math. They kept saying I was going to make close to 100k/yr with Uber! Bull, if I was making that much I wouldn't have 2 other jobs living check to check and for sure wouldn't be applying to an income restricted apartment. They took my YTD total and multiplied (3 months worth of income) by the number of weeks in a year! No! You divide the YTD by the number of weeks I've been employed by Uber to get the average per week, then take that number and multiply it by the number of weeks in a year! And I told them this multiple times! A place that is income restricted needs to know how to do SIMPLE MATH! If you want reliable property managment, this is not the place for you."
