803 Corday at Naperville Apartments

"I resided in this community for eight years, up until August 2022, initially living in Amli and later moving to 803 Corday. Amli was fairly good, but things changed after relocating to 803 Corday. The leasing staff at 803 Corday were notably discourteous, particularly when questioned about the frequent additional charges. Be prepared for substantial charges upon moving out, as they tend to impose heavy penalties for various reasons, particularly targeting Indians, Asians, and expatriates. These fines often include kitchen equipment, citing reasons like odors, which seemed unjustified to us. The inspection staff, including the manager named Dan, were extremely impolite and disrespectful, especially towards Indian expatriates. This place lacks trustworthiness. Furthermore, I feel compelled to write this review a second time as a staff member previously coerced me into deleting my initial review during a visit to the leasing office. I strongly advise against renting here, especially for Indian individuals, students, and newcomers to the area."

"Lived here for 2 years & my girlfriend wanted to move in & long story short she got the apartment below me and the apartment was not clearly not ready to be moved in... carpet was never replaced after previous owner had a dog and the apartment was still clearly dirty. Kelsey stated that the apartment was never cleaned up by maintenance. After 15 days of waiting for carpet to be replaced & for the apartment to be cleaned "to be move in ready" girlfriend handed the keys back because of everything. Now they don't want to give her first months money back after no one ever moved into the apartment.... "We can't do anything about it""

"I resided at Corday apartment for a couple of months, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by a deeply unpleasant situation. The management, specifically Dan.T, displayed a consistent pattern of racially biased behavior towards us as students. Not only were we asked to vacate the apartment with no reasonable explanation, but we also endured inappropriate and discriminatory remarks. While the service staff were generally good, the conduct of the management was far from satisfactory. Discrimination has no place in any environment, and it’s disheartening to see it occur in a place that should be welcoming and inclusive. I hope that Corday apartment takes necessary steps to address and rectify such behavior, ensuring a respectful and equitable experience for all residents."

"We’ve only moved here 3 months ago, and it has been our best experience so far! Everyone in the leasing office was helpful on making our move here easy. Staff is very friendly here, when we see them drive by in a go cart they always are quick to wave hello! Maintenance was quick and responsive. We’ve enjoyed the walks here and our children have enjoyed the pool and the packaging system here has been great! So happy we moved here!"

"Title: Terrible Experience - Unfair Treatment and Unnecessary Fees! My stay at 803 Corday apartments has been nothing short of a nightmare. As students, my roommates and I were hoping for a comfortable living space, but unfortunately, we encountered a series of issues that have left us deeply disappointed. From the moment we moved in, we faced multiple maintenance problems, including persistent bathroom leaks, a shaky tub, and a washing machine that ruined our clothes due to its age. Despite repeatedly reporting these issues, the management took little action, leaving us to cope with uncomfortable living conditions. To make matters worse, we were shocked to find unnecessary lawyer fees and fines added to our already burdensome rent. It feels like they are trying to exploit us financially, taking advantage of our student status. What makes this experience even more distressing is the behavior of the manager, Dan T. His racial insensitivity and utter lack of respect towards tenants are unacceptable and deeply hurtful. Living here has been a distressing experience, and I cannot recommend 803 Corday apartments to anyone. The blatant disregard for tenants' well-being, the unfair financial treatment, and the disrespectful behavior of the manager have left us feeling undervalued and taken advantage of. I urge potential renters to steer clear of this place, as there are better options out there that will treat you with the respect and consideration that everyone deserves."
