Vanderbilt Apartments

"Nice office staff and maintenance, but BE AWARE when I reported leaking from upstairs apartments numerous times instead of fixing the mold/mildew it caused they just spray painted over the issue. The spray paint also got all over my Play Station, Tables, TV, and Shower head, the only resolution they had was to offer me $200 off rent and to try to scrape it off. I am SURE we had a lot of mold in our apartment."

"Employees that are inconsiderate and lie to push their own narrative. They are bringing in over $100,000 a month in rent just to use a loophole to scam people into paying rent after they have moved out. I previously would have recommended living here, but after seeing the the spiders that we were consistently killing were brown recluses, and after seeing how staff will treat tenants who have been nothing but timely and quiet with zero complaints, I will no long tell anyone to live here. They are going to comment and say I never lived here, but I did."

"I lived here for two years. My rent was paid in full on time 100% of the time. In April we called to let them know we were moving out when our lease ended in June. In May we called again to ask what we needed. We went to the office and spoke to an employee who gave us the checkout sheet. We asked if there was anything else we needed to do before we moved out and we were told no. In September I get a letter from a collection agency saying I owe two months worth of rent. When I called the office they said they put me on a month to month lease because it was never in writing. We provided them with phone logs to show when we called. We provided cancellation of our renters insurance. We provided proof that no documents were signed for a month to month lease. We were told that we were notified of late payments by posting a message on our door. A door we no longer lived at. When I brought up an attorney we were told that they have been told that several times before and we won’t win because it’s a he said she said. Meaning this has happened before. Meaning they are stealing from people and getting away with it. A company that has over 100 apartments rented out is trying to ruin a families financial situation when there is proof that nobody lived there. Greed. Will not recommend to anyone after this."

"I have enjoyed living at Vanderbilt Apts. for yrs. Great location, beautiful grounds my dog loves to walk in. Love the view of the dogwood tree. Maintenance needs work, but nothing is perfect. Great place to call home."

"We moved into the Vanderbilt Apartments in 2022. Great location. Vanderbilt has a clean and well maintained complex. We’ve enjoyed our time here. The apartments are updated with modern flooring, appliances and bathroom fixtures. I also love the courtyard view some of the apartments offer. Nice to look out and see people playing catch with their dogs and grass instead of streets and cars. I sit out and enjoy a meal on my patio as often as I can. It’s very peaceful and cozy."
