"I was in Austin for the holidays and decided to get in some training while I was home. My home gym doesn't have an affiliate in Austin, so Coach Ty invited me to drop in to Aces on Christmas Day to get some rolls in. It ended up being just me and him, so we got some really good training in. Ty was extremely welcoming, super fun to roll with, and generous with his time and tips on technique. Even in that short time I learned a lot! He told me a bit about their training style and I was quite impressed with the curriculum. A lot of BJJ gyms seem to teach techniques randomly from day to day, but Aces has a clearly structured curriculum that ensures all beginning students get a solid foundation--I think that's awesome. If I still lived in the Austin area this would, without a doubt, be where I would go to train. 11/10 would recommend!"

"this place is fine as a martial arts class for kids- they could use ac, but whatever. but that’s. not the real business here. i’ve been trying to cancel a membership here for months. no call backs, just recurring membership charges. it’s fraudulent and predatory. im not alone- google “aces jiu jitsu stop membership” and you’ll see years of similar complaints. it’s gross and scammy. avoid at all costs."

"Speaking as a US Army veteran these guys are awesome. Coach Ty is a excellent fighter. These guys will have you fight ready ASAP. I’ve been to many gyms and they are able to train and teach in a way that makes sense and is applicable. There’s also plenty camaraderie that reminds me of the brotherhood I had in the military."

"I have been training at Aces for 9 months. I’ve made a lot of progress in my grappling ability and a lot of friends, and am super happy for both. The coaches are excellent, and if you speak honestly about your goals and your concerns, they will help you with both. This is a place where you can be a casual hobbyist or a world class competitor. Big thanks to Coaches Ty, Kurtis, Trent, Thailand, Mark, Sean and the Professor. You guys are so impressive."
