About the Business

Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Austin

Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Austin, located at 13642 North Highway 183 in Austin, Texas, is the Headquarters for the Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Association, with representation in over 12 countries. We are proud to serve the communities of Austin, Cedar Park, and Round Rock with high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. Our programs follow a curriculum to ensure continuity in students' learning journeys, all within a modern, clean facility that offers a friendly and safe environment.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides a full-body workout that can help you get fit, increase muscle mass, and improve your overall shape, all while having fun and learning a valuable life skill. Grounded in combative and competitive sport, BJJ sparring is optional but can be a great way to test your abilities and push your limits. For those interested, there are opportunities to compete in tournaments and even pursue a professional career in the sport.

BJJ requires focus and concentration, helping to alleviate stress and anxiety by forcing you to be present in the moment. Techniques are based on leverage, allowing smaller individuals to overcome larger opponents through skill and strategy. Practicing Jiu-Jitsu also instills humility, as even the most athletic individuals may find themselves submitted by others.

Beyond the physical and mental benefits, BJJ fosters a strong sense of community and belonging. Training partners become teammates, friends, and even family, creating a supportive and inclusive "tribe" atmosphere. Come see why Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu is the premier choice in Austin for those looking to improve their fitness, skills, and sense of camaraderie.
