"I always read the 1 star reviews of a business before I join, to see if they sound legit or just someone having a bad day. The ones for this page that stood out to me were people talking about it being hard to book a class. My first month here, I bought a small package of classes to make sure that I would like it. Because the class sizes are small, you do have to book ahead of time so if you tried to go last minute, yes, it’s going to seem fully booked. Very seldomly can you just pop in same day. This is not a Gold’s gym style class where 40 people are in at once. It’s small group training, with limited equipment which is a big part of the draw. If you plan ahead of time and book your classes a week or so out there’s no problem in getting in the classes that you want. I did upgrade my membership to unlimited so that I could book further in advance. The instructors are really great, there are different levels of classes, from pretty beginner to pretty Advanced. Modifications are given, if something is too difficult or if you have an injury. When I leave class, I feel both invigorated and like I had a really good workout. Nothing hurts, it’s definitely a workout that you can sustain over a long period of time and not worry about injuries. The studio is very clean, there’s plenty of parking. I’m so thankful that I clicked the Facebook ad and found this place!"

"Club Pilates turned me from a woman that hated working out to one that enjoys it so much and actually looks forward to it! All the instructors care so much and help you no matter what level you are."

"I’m an experienced Pilates practitioner and certified yoga instructor. Came to a class taught by the owner, realized as it started that my back was feeling tetchy and flagged that to her verbally, which the women around me heard and she acknowledged. I was gentle with the movements that felt safe for my body today, and then in one, without asking, clearly having both heard and visibly noticed my pain (there weren’t more than 10 participants) grabbed and yanked the circle around my feet - without asking - to pull me deeper into a pose and immediately sent my back into full spasm. I could barely crawl out of the studio after. To make matters worse, she spent the remainder of class loudly blaming me for my own “condition” which was not an ongoing condition, and I had indeed highlighted my soreness to her when I’d felt it. Zero apology, only blame on me, to the whole rest of the room claiming it’s my responsibility to raise an issue - which, again, I had. I am also a certified instructor and know that 101 teaching practice is do NOT adjust someone without permission, especially NEVER to yank someone into a deeper and more challenging pose. When I raised this to her she said “whatever, I was too busy teaching the class to pay attention to you” which itself demonstrates what a dangerously unfit pseudo instructor she is. Zero apologies or accountability. I staggered out of the studio and haven’t been able to walk since arriving home. Was carried indoors by my friend’s husband and have been flat on the floor all evening. Dangerously untrained, arrogant, and incompetent. The friend I’m staying with is a personal injury attorney, so if I continue not to improve, you will be hearing from them. For the record I am a competitive rower, with a professional club in London and train 5-6x a week. I am not unfit and out of shape. If anything the opposite. I can handle a lot of physically demanding activity (which Pilates is not) but cannot withstand a brutal, forceful injury."

"Love my Club Pilates Belterra! It's exciting that I've worked my up to level 2 classes. Monica has been such an encouraging instructor, always helping with modifications to moves that prove too challenging in the moment. Thank you for such a great studio with helpful, friendly staff! I love what the Club Pilates experience has done for my mind and body. I look forward to my workouts!"

"Great Pilates studio, convenient location, excellent teachers and staff who welcoming and accommodating. They work with you to achieve your goals. The manager Laura makes it all work. Great at an introduction to the club and assisting you any time needed. Lots of classes to choose from that are varied to keep you interested and motivated. This is the first time I’ve been able to consistently use a membership in a club. The benefits have been outstanding."
