"Very nice course to play at. Wide open with some challenging holes. For a beginner it is a beautiful place to play and has a little forgiveness. The course is always very well taken care of and in the spring and summer it is lush and green. Dry in the winter but still a good course to play. Just watch out for all the ducks and water hazards. Stop by the restaurant afterwards for a good bite to eat!"

"We are staying at this resort and played golf today. The course is in excellent condition and we enjoyed playing but………on hole 10 we were just teeing off and a cart pulled up with 2 guys in it. They said the front nine was stacked up so they were jumping to the back 9. They teed up their balls, hit, and then went on about their merry way. We have played golf in a lot of different places and this had never happened. Usually golfers have manners and are nice, these 2 guys were not. We told the starter about it when he came around, he said he talked to them. They were members. I have to say, this had turned me off from this course. When you pay to play, this should never happen. Very disappointed."

"Nice layout through the Texas hill country. Staff is helpful and polite. Course could use some more water as the greens have some bare spots. Very good value for the money. We are looking forward to playing the course again. Staying at the resort makes for a nice golf long weekend."

"The golf course was overall very nice. A bit pricey, but the holes were interesting and the views were great. My only complaint was with the booking. I went to their website and checked out the rates, and then proceeded to click the link and book online. I had to pay a convenience fee and then pay the balance in the clubhouse. I told the worker that the my playing partner was a senior, and she told me that I could not get the discount because I booked online... She then told me that it is "only a $5 discount"... Even though the website told me to book online, I could not get the discount at the clubhouse. I'm sure $5 does not matter to the people at this course, but for someone who just slums at munis, I did not like the booking process... but at least the greens were nice."
