I stopped there in a fluke one day over concerns about our nanny and looking for a backup plan years ago, not knowing what an impact they would really have on our lives.  A few day’s later, I found myself nervously dropping off the kids within hours of firing our nanny, and their staff welcomed my little ones and I with empathy and understanding. Fast forward years to when the pandemic hit and this family business still managed to make sure their staff, kids, and parents were taken care of within the restrictions given. While my neighbors and fellow medical associates were struggling with childcare, Appletree remained open, and nearly everyone in the drop off-line wore scrubs. A true “hero business” for many of us at the time that was much underappreciated. 5 years later, and I have truly seen the impact this school has had on my kids' lives. You can tell that teachers and administrative staff truly care for each other beyond their normal job duties. These are the same values that the teachers work to instill in the children they teach.  They have helped my son through his social anxiety and learning disabilities and my daughter grow with confidence and positivity. You know you have found a good school when the kids jump out of the car and leave you to chase them most mornings. Meaningful work is often slow, unnoticed, and underappreciated, but the staff at this school has truly made an impact.
