"My family has frequented this establishment for a few years with our dogs and we always had a great experience. Recently our dog started exhibiting some concerning symptoms and Dr. Mandola went above and beyond trying to figure out the cause and treat him. Unfortunately our dog’s illness was serious enough that he needed to be put down and Dr. Mandola and his staff were extremely caring and kind during the process. I want to thank Dr. Mandola and his staff for the wonderful care we received over the years. If we adopt any more pets in the future, we will surely be bringing them to Richmond Animal Hospital."

"This so called vet is doctoring papers for high paying customers. Absolutely avoid them at all costs because of their ethics. One of their clients sold me a deaf puppy with a severe over bite and no lower teeth. He Absolutely doctored the papers & I'm coming for him next!!!"

"We had high hopes when we brought our dog in. Found out she has kidney disease but now I'm second guessing it and need to get her to the new vet we are seeing to verify. Had high hopes because they seem to really care...but I don't think so. I'm sure they're great for little things. But I've had a sick kitten and was just given dewormer back to back. No blood test ran. No further examination. The staff is very rushy which I get because they are busy. BUT. You get what you pay for. They are affordable but how affordable when you have to Turn around and spend even more at a different vet for something they couldn't and didn't catch. Unfortunately our kitten did not survive whatever was wrong and was told by our new vet that it is common for vets to do a blood panel when a family brings in a new animal. And this could have possibly been prevented. I feel bad for the amount of people I referred to this place and the few that were even given a bad experience as well. We sadly but gladly won't return."

The vets are great and knowledgeable and unlike other places, they Don’t try to up sell and push unnecessary just to get more money out of you. The place is newly renovated and very accommodating. The front desk personnel are also great. Highly recommend."
