"Pat and Bob are fabulous hosts. However the star of the hsow is Bob's renovation of the house. The details from the picture rails and the floors to the size of the bathrooms and the layout of the communal space is a triumph. The antiques all over the home are just exquisite. True attention to detail. Best B&B I have ever stayed in. Location perfect for the towns and all matters Twain."

"While returning to Minnesota from a family visit to Oklahoma, my wife and I made a one day and night side trip to Hannibal to learn more about Mark Twain's boyhood home. We spent our one evening at the Belvedere Inn Bed & Breakfast, a renovated 1859 home. What a good choice that turned out to be. Leading up to our stay, our communications with the owners, Pat and Bob Yapp, were exceptional. This included an excellent recommendation for a place to eat on our Sunday evening arrival, when most restaurants in Hannibal were closed. The quality of the renovation completed by Pat and Bob was stunning. The cleanliness and comfort of our room accommodation was unmatched in our travel experience. The morning breakfast that followed and the friendly conversation with our host, Pat, about the history of Hannibal and its' present day status was superb. It should go without saying that whenever we may return to Hannibal, we will not even bother to explore other places to stay. We can't imagine how we would do any better than the Belvedere Inn."
