"I waited almost a year to write this review because I didn't want to write anything in my most vulnerable state. I would strongly urge people to seek treatment elsewhere. My dad was diagnosed with a stage 4 Sarcoma last year, and we were referred to Dr. Wiatrek. She convinced us that we were in good hands with her and that she could do anything MD Anderson could do. She made us feel comfortable enough to move forward with a surgery to have the sarcoma removed. Never once was it expressed to us the possibility that the tumor could not be removed. She performed the surgery only to find out that she could not remove it. All she did was speed up my father's death rather than help him. She also did not have the decency to tell my father that the surgery was not successful afterwards. She left that job up to another oncologist that specialized in chemotherapy who we had never met before. Horrible experience all around."
"Dr. Wiatrek is the best doctor! She is very patient and listens to your concerns. She is a great surgeon- you can barely tell I had surgery. Her bedside manner is incredible- she explained all my options, answered all my questions, and never rushed me. I would highly recommend her!"
