"Compass wouldn’t be so bad if they were not forcing people off of Benzos. At least that’s what my psychiatrist told me. Including the people who have been on them for 10-20-30+ years. The brain and body get used to having the medication over time. Taking it away causes severe withdrawals that I have already been through before. It’s literally hell. I don’t think the severe side effects of taking people off of them after YEARS of treatment is really truly understood at all. It’s very serious. The withdrawals can be so bad you could end up putting people in the hospital and then have a class action suit. They can even be deadly side effects. Even weaning off is incredibly difficult especially in the time frame that is expected. It’s absolutely ridiculous that I have to try to find a different provider to prescribe the medication I need when this shouldn’t even be occurring in the first place. I’ll be happy when I’m part of a program that doesn’t try to torture their own patients."
"My new psychiatrist is very good. Have only seen her once but I can tell. I've had good luck here in the past but during the pandemic had to see other ones that weren't so good. I'm seeing a lady named Amanda now and she seems wonderful."
"This is the welcome center. Its the first stop location where u basically register for services. Then you'll make a date for your actual assessment and get your appointments schedules for whatever they say you need or qualify for based on your assessment Everyone was great here, got right in and was done in about 30 minutes. Very friendly staff."
"I have been seeing Dr's and case managers for many years. Whenever I have an issue, it's usually resolved right away! I'm looking forward to working with my new case manager, Stephanie, in the coming months. Dr V is great, too. My last concern was handled professionally and I'm very happy and satisfied about it!"
