"I always find Texas Roadhouse a bit loud. It is hard to have a conversation with the person across from you. But this is the Texas Roadhouse many love and as long as you know this going in, it is not an issue. I ordered a burger & fries. Both were so salty, I could not eat them. I had my husband try both to make sure it wasn't just my taste & he agreed both were very salty. So I did ding this review a little bit for the food. However, the staff was amazing, all of them. The manager did offer to remake my meal without any seasoning, but we were a little pressed for time, so I did not accept the offer. The waitress was very apologetic, even though none of it was her fault. When the check arrived, they had discounted my meal off of the total. This was unexpected but totally appreciated. I had told the manager I just wanted them to be aware, so they did not receive other complaints. This was our 1st visit to the Festus location, and overall, due to the staff, it was a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, due to timing issues, I just left still hungry."

"**UPDATE** Revisited this location. Food was good. Service was great. Huge improvement. Glad to see how good they're doing. The food was great as usual. This location is relatively new, and it definitely felt underprepared. They were short staffed and the servers we had didn't feel well trained. They certainly tried their best. Looking forward to returning once they've had some time to settle."

"You always know what you’re getting here. Quality steaks for the price. Are there better steaks out there? Sure, but I don’t need them. I do, however, think they save the lesser quality cuts for the kids Andy’s steak. My discerning 10 y/o picked up on that real quick."

"John R. was awesome! Attentive but not lingering. Steaks were cooked as requested. Wife had the filet and I the ribeye. Both had salads and I had rice and baked potato for the wife. Awesome job, we will be back."

"Our waitress was amazing! Very content, knowledgeable, and helpful! She even asked if we were there for a special occasion! The food was cooked to specifications on every steak my party got! The rest of the food was great per my party! Would definitely recommend this restaurant! They also did the Happy Birthday and it was a riot! They were all in good spirits and smiling! ❤️"
