"**Review of La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham O'Fallon, IL - St. Louis:** My recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites left me with mixed feelings. The hotel overall was clean, but it did have a slightly dated appearance. Unfortunately, the elevator was in poor condition, which made getting around the hotel a hassle. Another disappointment was the lack of basic amenities like shampoo and an insufficient supply of toiletries. Additionally, the limited number of towels and the policy of having to return used ones to get new ones was inconvenient. The breakfast buffet offered was quite limited, leaving much to be desired in terms of variety. However, the highlight for my family was the pool, which was enjoyable for the kids. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded, allowing them to have a good time. Overall, La Quinta Inn & Suites is a budget-friendly option, but the limited services and outdated facilities may deter me from revisiting in the future."

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Cops were at the property. I didn't feel safe and barely slept the one night I was here. I had my door double locked and still felt no sense of safety. Breakfast was a choice of congealed sausage, crusty eggs, stale breads, or cereal with no milk. The phone in the room did not work so you couldn't call the front desk if something was needed. The room smelled musty and the curtains did not close all the way. The walls are paper thin and you could hear a flea fart in the room next to you. When requesting a copy of my receipt the front desk attendant stated a tip was required after handing me my receipt. I looked at her like she was crazy after the awful conditions I had just endured."

"The location of the hotel was great. It felt like a very safe part of town. That was where the great parts of the trip ended. We stayed there on Christmas day and arrived at 7 pm. There was nowhere open to eat so I went to the front desk. I was informed that it was cash only. I wasn't able to charge food to my room or to a card. I am like most other people and do not carry cash. The front desk clerk told me this and didn't offer any suggestions. The biggest issue with the stay was the mold in the shower. We stayed in room 302 and it was all along the wall. I also had another guest tell me that they had to go down to the front desk 3 times because the keys weren't working correctly."

"I think a good deep clean could honestly go a LONG way. The bottom of our feet were black from walking around our room. We had a double queen room. It was a tad small compared to other hotels we have stayed at but I don't count that against our experience. We stayed for 3 days and our room never got cleaned. We ended up having to use 2 towels for all 4 of us + our 1 pool visit. The biggest issue with no housekeeping was the trash pulling up. Especially since we had 1 in diapers. Judging by the piles in the hallways it wasn't just our room that got ignored. The pool area was nice and warm. We assumed there are usually towels down there but they were all gone from the weekend. The most shallow end of the pool worked great for the kids! I will say if you stay here with kids CHECK THE WINDOWS! We discovered that our 3rd floor window was able to be opened and had no screen. We assumed opening windows contributed to our entire floor having a smoke/pot smell."
