About the Business
The Austin School of Flower Design, located at 2006 Gaston Place Drive in Austin, Texas, offers a variety of courses for those interested in expanding their skills in flower designing. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced designer wanting to refine your techniques, our school has something for everyone.
Our introductory flower design course covers approximately 8 to 10 different styles of design, from American to European to bridal. With hands-on projects done in class and all flowers and containers provided, students will learn how to create beautiful designs and even discuss buying flowers on a wholesale level.
For those looking to further their education, our 1-week semester and Master's course in floral design offer more intensive training in high-end event designing. From weddings to funerals to hotel decor, students will gain the experience and knowledge needed to create elaborate and stunning designs.
Tuition includes all the necessary materials, such as flowers, tools, books, and containers, which students get to keep. Additionally, we offer a FREE Floral Design Seminar showcasing past floral designs and new arrangement ideas, as well as tips from our book "Flower Power: Lessons from the Los Angeles School of Flower Design."
