Go Dance Studio

"I hate writing bad reviews. But I don't have a choice. I had a problem with Go Dance and I tried to resolve it with them but got nowhere. My girl and I paid for a private dance package that was not cheap. We never got all the lessons we paid for. Every time I tried to schedule with the instructor he would not respond. We tried contacting the studio by email and they never responded. We thought maybe the instructor had left, but we went for an open house and he was there. I feel that we were ripped off and we are so disappointed. We were actually going to just buy another package but there is no chance I would ever use them again now. The only reason I gave it two stars because the facility itself is nice."

"I danced here throughout the pandemic, with masks and lots of extra work for the instructors to keep everything clean. Now I'm so happy I can see everyone's faces again! I love the group classes, private lessons, and Showcase performances. This is the place to be!"

"I currently take West Coast Swing, Social Swing, and Lindy Hop classes at GoDance South Austin. Overall, the dance classes & instructors are amazing, as well as the studio & its atmosphere in general. During classes, the instructors are very patient and take time to explain dance steps/moves, as well as to go over previously learned moves for anyone that needs to go over them. The dance classes themselves are also incredibly fun to attend! I love going to GoDance and if I could give 7 stars to this place, I would!"

"My fiancé and I have been taking lessons with Sebastian for our wedding first dance and have been loving them. Wedding planning has been stressful and this is such a fun part of the planning. Sebastian is an amazing teacher and really knows how to break down the moves to help us understand them and perfect them. He videos our dance moves at the end of the lesson for us so we are able to reference them later to practice. Sebastian has multiple years of experience teaching ballroom and he dances competitively, he’s an absolute professional. The area we dance is nice and clean, staff is very friendly. Highly recommend taking lessons here with Sebastian. We will definitely continue after the wedding!"

"We had the pleasure of working with Laureen on our first dance for our wedding. Neither of us had any ballroom dancing experience, so we were a little nervous on if we would be able to pick up a choreographed dance. Laureen started by teaching us the basics in session 1, spent about 5 sessions learning choreography & 2 sessions perfecting & adding finishing touches. By the end of the eight sessions, we knew the dance by heart & felt great about it. Would definitely recommend working with her for anyone looking to learn something new & fun!"
