Four Points Piano Teacher is a school and store located at 2900 North Quinlan Park Road in Austin, Texas, United States. As a member of the Music Teachers National Association and Austin District Music Teachers Association, our institution offers engaging one-on-one piano lessons that are tailored to individual interests and abilities. Our lessons include practical music theory, technique development, music history, and are designed to be enjoyable for students aged 6 through 96.
For those in Southeast Tucson neighborhoods such as Saguaro Trails, Civano, and Rita Ranch, we offer piano lessons in the comfort of your own home. Our primary goal is to help students discover and maintain the joy of playing music at the piano for a lifetime. We combine discipline and structure with freedom and exploration to help students tap into their musical abilities.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have transitioned to offering private online remote lessons that are live, not pre-recorded. These lessons are as enjoyable and effective as in-person lessons and provide a convenient way for students to continue learning without having to travel. All you need is a device with internet access and the Zoom or Farplay app.
Our university-educated pianist and teacher has a background in classical music and is dedicated to helping students achieve their musical goals. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, our tailored lessons will help you discover the joy of music and artistic expression. Remote learning has proven to be an effective and convenient way to continue your piano education, and our institution is here to support you every step of the way.

The COVID mess has made teaching much more difficult, but James has put together a Zoom based instruction process that, while not a good as personal interaction, works very well.
