"My dog needed knee surgery and I found out that Dr. Pearson performed the surgery he needed. Everyone from the person answering the phone, to the techs handling my dog, to the vet himself were very friendly and loving towards my dog. I was so nervous since I had never been to this vet before. They did an amazing job! So thankful they took care of my baby and he's on the road to recovery!"

"If I could choose zero stars I would, but I recently visited this veterinarian after my little Shih Tzu was bitten in the back of his neck. Dr. Merten Pearson was extremely disrespectful, the situation was incorrectly assessed, and my 10 lb. puppy was aggressively restrained from the neck and bottom, which caused him stress and further tears due to the pressure on his wound. I attempted to explain that if I put my hands on him, I could calm him down, but he aggravated the issue by saying, "Keep your hands off." The worst aspect of the whole thing was that it could have been handled easily since it was simply a straightforward exam. This specific veterinarian advertises that "We Care for All God's Creatures," yet when I was solely concerned about my dog, they refused to take care of us. I merely wanted to acknowledge that vets should think about how different animals are from one another and how they may develop methods to assess each dog's condition or situation. I also wanted to underline that they should do this in the most friendly and comfortable way possible. Being disregarded as a dog parent illustrates what other puppy parents may get rejected. We chose this veterinarian since it was the most convenient and reasonably priced, however it is frustrating when they can't uphold the standards similar to other veterinarians we have seen."

"Not sure why I am seeing so many negative reviews because we have had nothing but great experiences here with our dogs. We have tried several vets in town and this one has shown the most compassion, been the most reasonable financially, and has been the most gentle with our babies. The first time I came in was because I lived a couple of blocks away and found my mini aussie with a huge eye swollen shut in the yard. Noah's ark was the closest vet so I took her there and the staff was very kind, reassuring me that everything was going to be ok. The vet prescribed a steroid if I remember correctly and told me to give her allergy medicine and she was back to normal within the next couple of hours. After this experience we decided to bring our 1 yr old German Shepherd puppy in after taking him to two different vets who could not figure out why he was yelping every time he jumped in the air or played rough. Noah's ark looked at him for about 30 seconds (while being much more gentle than the other two vets I might add) and discovered that one of his testicles was trapped and when he jumped it was pulling and hurting him. Amazing, the other two clinics said it was probably the beginnings of hip dysplasia or a back problem in his lower back. They did surgery and he is now totally fine. Over the years and along with the treatments already described, Noah's ark has treated our babies for ear infections, Ehrlichia, and allergies and has given them all of their shots. My in-laws also bring all of their pitbulls here and have had nothing but great experiences. They even had their 15 yr old family dog put down here after developing cancer and Noah's ark was gentle and kind to the very end for Halo. I highly recommend Noah's Ark. We have two happy and healthy dogs thanks to them."
