"I recently visited the Walmart on Georgia Street, armed with a gift card for essentials, a generous gift from my parents. Unfortunately, my experience was far from straightforward. Upon attempting to use the card at a self-checkout, it was unexpectedly declined. Seeking assistance, I approached two employees who, despite their efforts, couldn't resolve the issue. They suggested the fault might lie with the card. Persisting, I tried another register, only to encounter the same problem. My next stop was customer service, where I encountered an employee from earlier. Their behavior, involving whispering and pointing, was discomforting and did not contribute to a positive customer experience. The explanation given for the card's issue was perplexing, to say the least. I was informed that the gift card had been 'locked' due to being in proximity to my phone - a claim that seemed quite unusual and unsubstantiated. To clarify, I contacted the card service, who confirmed that the card was indeed operational and without issues. Overall, the visit was marred by a series of confusions, unconvincing explanations, and an unwelcoming atmosphere from the staff. This experience was far from the efficient and hassle-free shopping trip I had anticipated at Walmart."
"This is my "regular" Walmart store. I honestly don't like using WM but options are limited in Amarillo. When I can't make it to a local grocer, I'll go here. Staff are always friendly and helpful when I need in a case or can't find something. I prefer self-checkout and the machines here are fine. The workers should be paid higher wages."
"Great place to shop for food. If u need anything else u may want to order it online. Because 90% of the time what I want or need there out of it. but if I ordered it online u get that day before close or the next morning. Walmart computer system is very messed up so be careful not to waste your time going shopping unless you have too. They're getting your money anyways. So think. Smart. Have a Great Day and be Happy."
