"I’m autistic and have a special interest in the history and the chemical composition of Dior’s makeup products. More often than not, I spend lots of time at the counter looking at the items (dressed in my regular clothes) and the workers are always very unpleasant to me. Only one of them has ever been kind to me, I can’t remember her name but she was blonde with pretty curled hair. I always feel encouraged to look at the perfumes, makeup, etc. when she’s around. If I don’t see her, I turn and walk the other way. The other employees are quick to assume you’re there to steal if you linger around for a long time with no money in your hand, and if you do have some to spend, you’re discouraged from purchasing anything based off of their attitudes."
