"My daughter has been taking basic piano lessons for 2 years when we decided to switch to The Musicians Woodshed. We have been here for just over 6ms and I have already seen an improvement in her performance skills as well as her creativity in both piano and vocals. The Musicians Woodshed (Bee Cave) has instructors of all ages and backgrounds and is able to tailor their lessons for all abilities. I love the fact that you can walk in and start playing anything they have available. There are clubs, bands, open mic, etc. Our experience with Reyna has been amazing - she is perfect for my daughters needs and desires as it comes to music. We also have enjoyed working with Kim and Ben and also Blake. I highly recommend The Musicians Woodshed for any type of learner or even for someone with just a general an interest in music."

"I am extremely disappointed in the state I received my guitar. The pickup closest to the bridge came severely damaged, the right side of the pickup cover was destroyed, the screw was all pushed in, the pickup itself caved in. The pickup closest to the neck was damaged as well. The guitar was not properly protected for shipping, the box it came in was tin, the polystyrene it came in could have been more, the back and front of the guitar were not protected adequately. The outside of the box was lacking some “fragile” stickers, and indicators on the right side up. I asked for a partial refund to cover the expenses on the repairs but their customer service is not the greatest, the responses I was given were not clear. The partial refund I was promised was removed from my account. The free shipping was nice, but I ended up paying more for the repairs which is annoying."

"I wanted to love this place because of all the great reviews, but wow. Unfortunately, I cannot rate what I assume are great instructors, because the administration and running of this business is very, very poor. It took me months of repeated phone calls, texts, and emails to get a trial lesson set up. Not only did they schedule this trial class for a date they were closed (?), they did not tell me this before taking my very excited kid in for a lesson that was not actually happening. In fact, I received both email and text reminders asking me to confirm that we would be there on the date of our non-lesson. Then, after calling, texting, and emailing (with no response) that I was no longer interested, they still had us on their schedule. They texted on that date at 4pm (for a supposed 4:30 lesson) that our instructor went home sick and our lesson was canceled. Yes, they were cancelling a lesson 30 minutes prior to the lesson taking place. On top of all of this, I have been charged $50 (again, what? Why? That is not even the cost of monthly lessons and seeing as we didn't even have one lesson, this makes no sense), and no one is returning my calls, texts, or emails. I don't like to bash small businesses, but I don't recommend this place at all."

"The Musicians Woodshed is a total gem for the Lakeway/Bee Cave/Austin communities! The staff is super professional, the store is well-stocked, and the opportunities they have for their students are one-of-a-kind. I've never heard of a music studio that taught and encouraged students to perform and record! This is exceptional. I've worked closely with Kelly and Tony, and they are both wonderful. I also booked a 3-hour recording session with Tony and he was amazing. Totally worth it. The sound quality and production coming out of this studio is exceptional. I love everything about this place!"

"My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Tricia for about 3 months. This was her first time with any music lessons and we are so pleased with her progress. It seems like all the instructors are well qualified and trained to work with children. The Woodshed has a wide variety of lessons/ activities that they offer. You can tell they accommodate to all music styles and personalities. The environment is fun and its easy to keep small children occupied if you are waiting during sessions. It was recommend to us by many of our friends and its lived up to our expectations."
