"Fusion Academy Sugar Land is a warm, inviting learning environment for students in grades 6-12. The students are taught one-on-one by highly certified educators in a broad array of subjects, chosen by students and their parents. The Fusion approach includes an element of social interaction as well. Between classes, students are encouraged to help each other with questions about homework, projects, and assignments, and even play games. There are nurturing teacher/mentors available during this time also. There’s a weekly community meeting, with open discussions about timely news and other interesting topics. Fusion Academy Sugar Land is a great choice for students! Whether a learner needs individual help in a tutorial-type setting in only one subject, or chooses to go to school full time, his or her needs will be fulfilled and parents will be pleased. A five-star experience is waiting for you!"

"I am a graduate of Fusion Academy’s class of 2020. I attended Fusion for the last 2 years of my high school career after struggling quite a bit with traditional schooling both schedule-wise and content-wise. I can say with certainty that the quality of the education I received from Fusion Sugar Land was stellar. You would be hard pressed to find a better collection of intelligent, dedicated, and caring teachers in any other educational environment. It genuinely baffles me that 100% of the staff at Fusion is that good. If there is a topic that you wish to learn about, there will be an expert ready and waiting to teach you. If you struggle in a specific subject, or struggle to find interest in a particular class, your teacher WILL find a way to make it interesting to you. The administration is also very closely involved with the student body. They all know each and every student on a personal level - I was able to speak to both the head of school and assistant director (or, if you like, principal and assistant principal) just about every day. They were always open to feedback on how the school could be improved, and were receptive to said feedback when given. The milieu is incredibly well designed to create a perfect balance of both social interaction and workable environment. In periods between your classes, there is ample time to talk with others, work on class work, or relax depending on what you desire to do in that moment. There exists a place for every kind of personality. The faculty is welcoming and caring, and there are multiple different student clubs and organizations for any interest. If there isn’t one for you, just form one! This is not only easy and simple to do, but it is encouraged. The pacing is entirely up to the student. I see this as one of Fusion’s biggest strengths. I was majorly behind in high school before I enrolled in Fusion. Majorly as in just over an entire semester behind, and yet I was still able to graduate not only on time, but with a GPA that I was proud of. Although I got through a large amount of content in a relatively short amount of time, I did not feel rushed, nor do I feel I missed out on any important information. This can be attributed to the excellent teaching staff. Another massive plus to Fusion is how it prepares its students for the future. There are specialized classes on financial literacy and general life skills that have helped rocket me ahead of many of my peers at my university in terms of independence and social and emotional intelligence. This comes with an additional layer of irony, as prior to Fusion, I was nowhere near an independent person, nor was I a “social butterfly”. Fusion also helps prepare its students for the short term future. SAT/ACT prep is offered, there are resources to help with college applications, and even if college isn’t your goal, the staff at Fusion are still ready and waiting to help you plan for the next step after high school. I cannot speak enough to the praises of this school. The staff is genuinely among the best, and the curriculum is among the most well organized. Finishing my junior and senior years at Fusion was the best decision I made in my high school career. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone."

"Fusion Academy Teachers/Mentors & Administration are very knowledgeable and welcoming. The academy offers students a chance to explore tailored curriculum in 1 to 1 setting at their own pace. Our student transitioned from 9th grade homeschool to virtual/in person at Fusion during summer 2020. We are excited that our student will graduate 2 years ahead of schedule at sixteen years old and has gained the confidence needed to purse his academic and personal goals. We searched for many years (10 years to be exact) for a school that could accommodate and balance the academic expectations and the chance to explore new opportunities. We are very thankful for Fusion and the breath of fresh air it allowed our family."

"For the last few years I have had the privilege of working at Fusion Academy in Sugar Land, a truly unique program. Now that I am moving out of state I wanted to take this opportunity to share just how special this school is. Fusion Academy caters to students who need a more flexible schedule or those for whom traditional educational models are not a good fit. One-on-one in-person or virtual instruction eliminates the distraction of other students in the class and allows the teacher to design the course around each student's needs and interests. The small campus also provides a safe place for students to share their individuality. I have seen tremendous social-emotional growth in some of our more introverted students, and first-time academic success for those who were struggling to pass in other settings. In a long and varied teaching career this is the best option I have seen for struggling students."

"I graduated 3 months ago and have some things to say. Unfortunately due to covid, I was only learning in person for about a month, but the online learning I did for the rest of my time at Fusion was some of the best I have ever received. Every single teacher there was great and working so hard to make sure everything was on track, weekly meetings, fun activities, virtually of course, kept everything going a flow. Virtual "HW Cafe" was great so I was still able to get the help I needed with assignments and talk to other students and make sure everyone was doing well. If anyone is on the fence of going to Fusion, or sending your child there, no words can describe how much I recommend Fusion... I am now a freshman at UH (University of Houston) and I am 100% prepared and am loving it and apply everything I learned from Fusion to my daily life..."
